Overview

This unit is an extension unit for attachment to the PXW-FX9V/FX9T

Solid-State Memory Camcorder.

For details about the unit, refer to the PXW-FX9V/FX9T Operating

Instructions.

Note

When attaching the unit to the PXW-FX9V/FX9T, first remove the battery

pack from the PXW-FX9V/FX9T and then attach the unit.

Connect only devices with current consumption of 2.0 A or lower to

the DC OUT connector.

Wireless receiver and RAW OUT functions are not supported in PXW-

FX9 software version 1.0.

network, it is strongly recommended to access the Control window

via a Web browser and change the access limitation settings from

the factory preset values. Changing the password regularly is also

recommended.

If the unit is suddenly taken from a cold to a warm location, or if ambient

condensation occurs, turn off the unit and wait until the condensation

clears before operating the unit. Operating the unit while condensation

is present may damage the unit.
