before assembling and using this product.

Before adding equipment to this product, ensure this product has been properly

mounted.

Do not attempt to operate or install this product if parts are missing or damaged.

Ensure the weight of the equipment does not exceed the weight capacity of this

product. If the weight capacity is exceeded, personal injury or damage to the

equipment is possible. This product can support the following weight: up to 50 lb

(22.7 kg).

All four mounting points must be properly secured to each of the posts on a four-post

rack.

Never exceed the maximum mounting depth specication for this shelf: 29.3in

(744mm).

Installation

Install the Sliding Shelf Without Removing the Rail Assemblies

Note: For these steps, ensure there is sucient space above and below the the

desired mounting location. If Rack equipment is already installed above or below the

desired mounting location, proceed to “Install the Sliding Shelf By Removing The Rail

Assemblies”

1. Determine an appropriate location on the Rack to mount the Sliding Shelf. The

Sliding Shelf requires 2U of Mounting Space.

2. Determine the Depth of the Mounting Posts on the Rack. The Adjustable

Mounting Depth of the Shelf is from 20.1in (510 mm) to 29.3in (744mm).

3. Install the M6 Cage Nuts into the Mounting Holes on the Front and Rear

Mounting Posts of the Rack. If available, use a Cage Nut Tool (not included) or

your preferred installation method to install the Cage Nuts.

4. Adjust the Mounting Depth of the Sliding Shelf to match the Mounting Depth of

the Rack:

For Small Depth Adjustments: Loosen the Screws (See Figure 1) on the side of

the Front (x 2) and Rear Brackets (x 2), using a Phillips Head Screwdriver.

Reposition the Rear Brackets (x 2) and/or Front Brackets (x 2) based on the

Mounting Depth of the Rack and the setup requirement. Tighten the Screws

on the side of the Front (x 2) and Rear Brackets (x 2), using a Phillips Head

Screwdriver. This completes the Rail Assembly (x 2).

For Large Depth Adjustments: Remove the Screws (See Figure 1) on the side

of the Front (x 2) and Rear Brackets (x 2), using a Phillips Head Screwdriver.

Reposition the Front and Rear Brackets to match the required Mounting

Depth of the Rack, and re-install the Screws on the side of the Front (x 2) and

Rear Brackets (x 2), using a Phillips Head Screwdriver. This completes the Rail

Assembly (x 2).

Note: Two people are recommended to accomplish the following steps.

5. Tilt and insert the Sliding Shelf with the Rail Assemblies (x 2) still installed into

the Rack.

6. Align the Sliding Shelf the M6 Cage Nuts installed in Step 2.

7. Insert the M6 Screws (x 8) through the Rail Assembly Mounting Holes (x 2),

and into the M6 Cage Nuts (x 8). Tighten the Screws (x 8) using a Phillips Head

Screwdriver.

8. Pull the Sliding Shelf out, ensuring that it Stops and the Locking Mechanisms

engage.

9. To put the Sliding Shelf back into position, engage both Release Levers

(See Figure 2) at the same time and gently Push the Sliding Shelf back into the

Rack.

Note: The Release Levers operate in opposite directions. One moves Down and the

other Up.

10. (Optional) To remove the Sliding Shelf, Fully Extend the Sliding Shelf, and

locate the Release Levers (See Figure 2) on the sides of the Sliding Shelf. Engage

both Release Levers at the same time and Pull the Sliding Shelf out of the Rail

Assemblies. Repeat Step 6 to install the Sliding Shelf.
