adaptertotheconnectorontheSlimlineSATAopticaldrive.

2. Fastentheadapterboardtotheopticaldriveusingthetwo

includedmountingscrews.

3. Mounttheassembledopticaldriveintothecomputersystem.If

thesystemdoesnothaveaslimopticaldrivebay,amounting

bracketmaybenecessary(i.e.StarTech.comID:SLIMCDFDCAGE

for5.25”bays).

4. Connecta5-pinUSBheadercable(notincluded)fromtheadapter

boardtoanavailableUSBconnector/headeronthecomputer

system,usinganappropriatecableoradapter(i.e.StarTech.com

ID:USBINT5PIN).

5. ConnectanSP4oppypowerconnectorfromthesystempower

supplytotheSP4connectorontheadapter.
