Locate the crown on your Stauer watch (part
B) and please note the three crown positions
(1-2). Before the watch is worn for the
rst time, wind the crown, by hand, 10-
15 cycles by rolling the crown clockwise
(away from you) while in the “1” (one)
1. Pull the crown (part D) out to position “2”
and adjust the dual-time dial (part A). Turn
the crown counter-clockwise until the small
2. Continue to turn the crown counter-clock-
wise to set the time dierence between
local (main dial) and dual time (Part A).
NOTE: Turn the minute hand 20 minutes
less than the local time. (If the dierence is
4 hours, turn the hands to 3:40).
3. To adjust the local time (main dial), turn the
crown clockwise and set the desired local time.
NOTE: e Sun/Moon display (Part C) will
synchronize with the local time.
4. Once the time is set, push the crown back
EXAMPLE: If dual time is 1 o’clock and local
time is 8 o’clock (total dierence of 7 hours):
1. Adjust the dual time (Part A) count-
er-clockwise until the small hand stops at 12.
2. Continue to set the dual time by turn-
ing the crown counter-clockwise to set the
time dierence between the two time zones
(remember to turn the minute hand with
20 minutes less than the total time. In this
