Important Safeguards
Know Your Blender
Operation
When using the electrical appliance, the below basic safety
precautions should be followed:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Before using check that the voltage power corresponds
to the one shown on the appliance nameplate.
3. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
4. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or
in a heated oven.
5. Do not operate any appliance with a damage cord
or plug or after the appliance malfunction or has been
damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the
nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair
or adjustment.
6. If the supply cord is damaged，it must be replaced by
the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualied
person in order to avoid a hazard .
7. Always disconnect the blender from the supply if it is
left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or
cleaning.
8. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply
before changing accessories or approaching parts that
move in use.
9. Avoid contacting moving parts.
10. Do not leave foreign objects, such as spoons, forks,
knives or the measuring cup, in the jar as this will damage
the blades and other components when starting the
machine and may cause injury.
11. Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting
blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
12. The use of attachment, including jar, jar lid, not
recommended or sold by manufacturer may cause re,
electric shock or injury.
13. Never use hot liquids or run the appliance empty.
14. To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put
motor unit or power cord in water or other liquid.
15. Keep hands and utensils out of jar while blending to
reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to
the blender.
16. If scraping is necessary, turn the power OFF, unplug
from the electrical outlet, and use a rubber spatula only.
17. Always operate blender with lid in place.
18. Never put non-food items into the jar for blending.
19. Do not open the lid before the blade stops running
completely to avoid hazard.
20. Do not put hands or other objects into jar during
working.
21. Appliance can be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
This appliance shall not be used by children.Keep the
appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
22. Children shall not play with the appliance.
23. Misuse may cause potential injury.
24. Do not use outdoors.
25. This appliance is intended to be used in household and
similar applications such as:
– staff kitchen areas in shops, ofces and other working
environments;
– farm houses;
– by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type
environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments.
26. Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the food processor
or blender as it can be ejected out of the appliance due to
a sudden steaming.
27. Save this instruction.
HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY
FOR THE INITIAL USE
1. Unpack the appliance and place all parts on a horizontal
surface.
2. Immerse the jar, jar lid and measuring cup in warm
soapy water and rinse them and dry. Never immerse motor
unit in water for cleaning to prevent the risk of electric
shock.
CAUTION: The blade is very sharp, please handle
carefully.
VEGETABLE/FRUIT JUICE
1. Lay the appliance on a at horizontal surface and make
sure it is unplugged.
2. Prepare the vegetable/fruit well, take carrot for example.
Firstly, peel the carrot and cut it into cubes with a size of
15mm*15mm*15mm, then remove the measuring cup and
jar lid, after it, put the carrot cubes into the jar. Usually
certain amount of puried water has to be added to
facilitate the smooth running of appliance. The proportion
of the carrot and water is 2:3. The amount of mixture
should not exceed the maximum level as indicated on the
jar.
NOTE: Never use hot liquids or run the appliance empty.
