EKI-2701HPI Startup Manual 1
The EKI-2701HPI is a one-port PoE injector designed to
deliver both data and electrical power to Ethernet-enabled
devices using a single Ethernet cable.
Capable of supplying up to 30 watts of power through its
Ethernet port, it can e󰀩ciently power IEEE 802.3af/at PoE
compliant devices such as wireless access points and IP
cameras, thereby eliminating the need for additional wiring.
Before installation, please make sure that you have re-

• 1 x DlN-rail mounting bracket with 4 screws (M3 x 5L)
• 2 x Wall mounting brackets with 8 screws (M3 x 5L)

The EKI-2701HPI injector supports dual +24~48 V
DC
power
inputs. For operation, connecting either power V1 or V2
to the switch is su󰀩cient. If both sets are connected, it
enhances redundancy. In the event of a power resource
failure in one set, it will automatically switch to the other set
of power resources.
1. Insert the positive and negative wires into the V+ and
V- contacts on the terminal block connector.
2. Tighten the wire-clamps screws to prevent the DC wires
coming loose.
Warning: This product is intended to be supplied by an
UL certied power supply or DC source suitable
for use at minimum Tma 75 °C whose output
meets SELV or ES1 and is rated at 24-48 Vdc,
0.8A min., if you need further assistance, please
contact Advantech for further information.
Warning: Ensure that the voltage of the power source is
correct before connecting the equipment to a
power outlet. The power outlet socket should
have a grounded connection.
Warning: Never open the equipment. For safety reasons,
the equipment should be opened only by a quali-
ed skilled person.
