PCIe Slots

• MIC-78M20:

1 x PCIe x16 socket (PCIe x16 signal)

1 x PCIe p1-x4 socket (PCIe p1-x4 signal)

• MIC-78M20-01:

2 x PCIe x16 socket (PCIe x8 signal)

1 x PCIe p1-x4 socket (PCIe p1-x4 signal)

• MIC-78M11:

1 x PCIe x16 socket (PCIe x16 signal)

1 x PCI socket

Note 1: PCIe x16 supports up to 75W power consumption.

Note 2: PCIe p1-x4 supports up to 25W power consumption.

Note 3: MIC-78M20 does not support MIC-770 series

systems.

Note 4: Please add a FAN kit (P/N# 98R1752000E) into

i-module, if the PCIe/PCI add-on card power

consumption is over 45W.

• 1 x 12V extra power socket

Note 1: 12V extra power connector supports 25~75W.

Note 2: The total power consumption of the M20 riser card

can support 100W (PCIe x16 socket + PCIe p1-x4

socket + 12V extra power)

Storage

• Internal SATA connector: 1

Note 1: Optional 98R1752010E which is able to install a

2.5” HDD/SSD up to 15mm and occupied 2nd PCIe

slot space.

• Operating Temperature:

-20 ~ 60°C with 0.7 m/sec air ow with 1 x Industrial SSD,

without PC expansion boards

0 ~ 45°C with 0.7 m/sec air ow with 1 x 2.5” HDD, with-

out PC expansion boards

• Storage Temperature: - 40 ~ 85°C (-40 ~185°F)

• Relative Humidity: 95% @ 40°C (non-condensing)

Mechanical

• i-Module dimensions (H x W x D): 53 x 195 x 240 mm

• With MIC-78 series (H x W x D): 133 x 195 x 240 mm

• With Mount kit (H x W x D): 183 x 195 x 240 mm

Note: We suggest adding an optional system fan (P/N:

98R1752000E) if power consumption of your add-on

card is more than 45W (for better thermal

management).

System Installation

• The MIC-78 series i-module can be assembled with all

MIC-78 series IPC systems.

1. Undo 4 screws on the MIC-78 series system to remove

the bottom cover. Keep the bottom cover.

2. Assemble the MIC-78M20/M11 with the MIC-78 series

system and secure it using the 4 x screws to integrate

the systems.

3. A󰀩x the 4 x screws to re-attach the bottom cover.
