Product Introduction

Climate Sensor W100 is a high-precision temperature and humidity sensor with a screen that supports

Zigbee and Thread dual protocols. The device can monitor and record ambient temperature and humidity in

real time, and can be associated with an extra temperature and humidity sensor. The three custom buttons

can be used to control other smart home devices, and it also supports binding with thermostat devices for

wireless control. At the same time, the device also supports access to the Matter ecosystem, or access to the

Aqara Home with the Aqara hub, so as to provide a more convenient smart home experience with other

smart devices.

Warnings

WARNING: Do not swallow battery, chemical burn hazard!

Installation Method

1. This product contains a button battery. If the button battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal

burns in just 2 hours and may lead to death.

2. Replacing the battery with an incorrect type may result in a risk of fire or explosion. Only battery of the

same or equivalent type may be used for replacement.

3. Regardless of whether the battery is new or old, keep it out of reach of children.

4. If the battery compartment cannot be locked, please stop using the product and keep it out of reach of

children.

5. If you think you may have swallowed a battery or placed a battery inside your body, seek medical

attention immediately.

6. Do not put the battery into fire, microwave oven or oven, otherwise it may cause the battery to explode.

7. Do not disassemble, impact, squeeze, cut or mechanically damage the battery in any way, otherwise it

may cause the battery to explode.

8. Do not expose the battery to extremely low pressure or extremely high temperature environments,

otherwise it may cause battery explosion and leakage of flammable liquids or gases.

9. Do not discard used battery at will; they should be handled safely and properly in accordance with

relevant national and regional regulations.

10. Do not expose the product to extremely high or low temperatures, as this may damage electronic

components and plastics.

11. Please remove the battery before cleaning and use only a dry cloth to clean the outside of the device. Do

not use any cleaning fluid to avoid damaging the electronic device.

12. This product is not waterproof. Please do not put it in water or use it in a humid environment for a long

time.

13. This product is for indoor use only and should be placed away from direct sunlight, shelter or heat

sources.

Search for "Aqara Home" in the app store or scan the QR code below to download the "Aqara Home" app.

2) Access tothe 3rd-Party Matter ecosystem

Method 1:

Please make sure you have installed the Matter-compatible app and have a Matter-compatible Thread

border router.

Aer the device is powered on, the indicator light will begin to flash slowly, indicating that the device has

entered network setting mode.

Open the Matter-enabled app, scan the Matter QR code on the instruction manual or product, or enter

the setup code to add the device to the app.

Method 2:

Aer adding the device to Aqara Home app, click "Matter Ecosystem" on the settings page, and follow the

prompts to join, synchronize device-specific actions (such as single click, long press) to the Matter platform

that supports "wireless switch" and "temperature and humidity sensor" device types (such as Apple Home,

Home Assistant), and trigger automation and scenes.

You can adjust the setting items by pressing the “o” button. Aer selecting a setting item, use the “+” or “-”

button to adjust the corresponding parameters.

Power on

Remove the battery insulation film and wait for the device to power on.

With wall bracket/On magnetic surface

Only available for TH-S04D model.

With screw kit

Add device

Open the Aqara Home app, click "+" in the upper right corner of the homepage, and select the device

accordingly.

* If the addition fails, move the device close to the hub and try again.

* Make sure that there is a hub that supports this device (such as, Hub M3) under the Aqara account, and

it is within the connection range when using it.

*The above is the button interaction description when binding an Aqara thermostat device. When the thermostat is not bound,

the user can customize the three button interaction operations.

Button Operations Description

Holding “o” for 2 seconds starts the thermostat. Relevant functions and

status will display on the device screen. Pressing and holding “o” again

will turn oﬀ the thermostat.

Enter the settings menu, where you can switch between temperature

adjustment, mode adjustment, and fan speed adjustment.*

Press “o”

In temperature adjustment, “+” increases and “-” decreases the target

temperature.

Press “+”/“-”

In mode adjustment, it cycles between Heating and Cooling. “+” for

forward, “-” for reverse.*

In fan speed adjustment, it cycles through Low, Middle, High, and Auto.

“+” for forward, “-” for reverse.*

*Supported settings and modes depend on the connected thermostat device. The "o" button that appears here and

below is the wireless switch 2

Child Lock

Aer activation, the device’s button operations will be disabled, eﬀectively preventing accidental operation

by children.

Button Operations Description

Press and hold “+” and “-” simultaneously for 2 seconds. The child lock

icon will light up on the screen, indicating the child lock is activated.

Button Operations Description

Resets the device, clearing network information while retaining other

configuration settings. When the signal strength icon flashes slowly, the

reset is successful.
