INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
By applying the unique composite sorption
material AQUALENTM in combination with the best
activated carbon, the filter jug with either and
AQUAPHOR MAXFOR+ / B25 cartridge securely
and irreversibly entraps organic compounds, iron
and heavy metals and other types of harmful
impurities, as well as removing redundant water
hardness, preventing scale build up. If you have
fitted an AQUAPHOR MAXFOR+ Mg / B25 Mg filter,
this is designed to enrich water with magnesium
and has additional health benefits. AQUALEN
TM
fiber contains small amounts of silver and is
applied for the suppression of bacterial growth
(patentoftheUSA6,299,771).
The box contains the following:
Water filter jug • 1 pc.
Water filter cartridge • 1 pc.
Operatingmanual(certificate) •1pc.
The jug’s upper funnels have the following
volumes: Compact – 0.9 l; Glass – 1 l; Time – 1.1 l;
Onyx – 1.2 l; Amethyst, Jasper – 1.4 l.
Follow the procedures in Fig.1 in order to replace
the filter cartridge and for optimum cleaning
results.
Depending on the jug model the jug can be
equipped with a SLIDING or FLIP-TOP lid, which
allows the consumer to fill the jug, without having
to remove the lid completely.
SLIDER LID: To fill the funnel with water, slide the
lidofthejugtotheopenposition(Fig.2)andfill
with water
FLIP-TOP LID: Click on the button and bring the
centerofthelidtoaverticalposition(Fig.3)and
fill with water.
For best results, please ensure you replace the
filter cartridge as shown by the indicator.
CARTRIDGE REPLACEMENT COUNTER
Amethyst, Glass, Jasper, and Onyx jugs are fitted
with a mechanical water meter that allows you
to monitor the remaining life of the cartridge.
Compact and Time jugs do not have a counter.
The mechanical counter built into the jug lid
clearly shows the remaining lifespan of the jug
cartridge. The counter will indicate when you
should replace the filter cartridge. The counter is
triggered each time you open the lid of the jug
and is synchronized with the filter life.
USEOFTHECOUNTER:
When installing a new filter cartridge, turn the
counter arrow to the ‘beginning’ position which
correspondsto100%filtrationcapacity(Fig.4).
During use of the counter, the arrow will rotate
counterclockwise and indicate the remaining
resourceofthecartridge(inpercent).Whenthe
arrow points to the red segment, the cartridge
needstobereplaced(Fig.5).
