USE & CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please read all informaon provided below before using the Bagel
Blade. The blade is extremely sharp. Even though the Bagel Blade
makes bagel cung safe, quick and simple, pracce cauon when
using this tool.
1. Grasp the top of the handle poron of the Bagel Blade with
one hand holding down on the base to separate the blade
from the base.
2. Place the bagel into the base (See illustraon #1)
3. With the blade poinng downward, posion the handle of
the Bagel Blade directly over the base. The handle poron
will cover the base as you push straight down. Do so unl the
handle poron touches the base. (See illustraon #2)
4. Li the handle poron up while holding the base securely
with one hand. Remove your perfectly divided bagel from the
base. (See illustraon #3). If the bagel scks while removing
the handle poron, use a utensil to push down on the bagel
from above the blade

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
• Slicing frozen or stale bagels will dull the blade on your Ba-
gel Blade. Make sure to thaw frozen bagels completely before
slicing or slice them before freezing.
• Bagels may compress or become squashed during slicing
if they are too moist, scky or steamy (such as freshly baked
bagels). To ensure the easiest slicing, moist and scky bagels
can be toasted for a few seconds prior to slicing. It is advised
to allow freshly baked bagels to cool o before slicing.
• Flavored bagels (everything, blueberry) may leave a scky residue on the blade. To
ensure your Bagel Blade works at maximum eciency, clean it regularly. Ingredients
containing acid may cause staining. Occasional staining or scratches will not aect the
performance of your Bagel Blade.
• To clean your Bagel Blade by hand, use warm soapy water and a bole brush. The
blade is very sharp; never reach into the handle poron. Do not use metal pads, steel
wool or abrasive cleaners to scour the blade.
• Place on the top shelf when cleaning in the dishwasher. Use cauon when removing
from the dishwasher, so that you don’t hit the blade.
• Keep out of reach of children. The Bagel Blade is not a toy. It should never be used by
children of any age without adult supervision.
