Safety
• This product is aprecision instrument and should be handled with care and
protected from blows and rough treatment.
• Place thescale at thesame location every time you weigh yourself.
• For accurate readings, thescale should be placed on ahard, level surface.
Anuneven floor beneath thescale can cause thereadings to fluctuate.
• Weigh yourself without clothing at thesame time of day, preferably in themorning
before breakfast. Placeyour feet in thesame place every time you weigh yourself.
• The displayed readings are rounded up/down to thenearest 100g.
• The scale can be cleaned using adamp cloth, if and when required. Makesure
that no moisture gets inside theproduct. Neveruse solvents or strong detergents.
• Keep thescale away from water and splashes, theelectronic components can
bedamaged.
• Do not store thescale standing on its edge as thedisplay will be on all thetime
and quickly drain thebatteries.
• Remove thebatteries from thescale if it is not to be used for anextended period.
• The scale can be affected by changes in temperature or by being moved.
Inaccurate readings may occur if thescale is too cold when used. Allowthescale
to stand and acclimatise for approx. 24 hours before using it for thefirsttime.
• This product must not be used by anyone (including children) suffering from
physical or mental impairment. Thisproduct should not be used by anyone who
does not have theproper experience or knowledge of theproduct unless they have
been instructed in its use by someone who takes responsibility for their safety.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
Batteries
The battery compartment on thebottom holds four AAA/LR03 batteries.
1. Open thebattery compartment and insert thebatteries. Referto themarkings in
thebattery compartment.
2. Refit thebattery cover.
Note: “Lo” will appear on thedisplay when thebatteries need changing.
