Warranty Information..

DCM products purchased in the United States from an authorized DCM dealer, is guaranteed against de-

fects in material and workmanship for a period of TEN YEARS from the date purchased by the end user,

and limited to the original retail purchaser of the product. Product found to be defective during that period

will be repaired or replaced by DCM at no charge. This warranty is void if it is determined that unauthorized

parties have attempted repairs or alterations of any nature. Warranty does not extend to cosmetics or ﬁn-

ish. Before presuming a defect is present in the product, be certain tht all related equipment and wiring is

functioning properly. DCM disclaims any liabilty for other incurred damages resulting from product defects.

Any expenses incurred in the removal and reinstallation of product is not covered by this warranty. DCM’s

total liability will not exceed the purchase price of the product. If a defect is present, your authorized DCM

dealer may be able effect repairs.

Proof of purchase is required when requesting service, so please retain your sales receipt and take a mo-

ment to register your product on line at

dcmspeakers.com. Also, a Return Authorization number (RA) is

We appreciate your choice of DCM Time Domain In-Wall and In-Ceiling Series speakers. Properly in-

stalled and operated, they should provide years of worry-free listening pleasure. It’s important that you

follow each step in the mounting directions on the mounting template and the recommendations in this

guide carefully to insure proper installation.

Features..

• 12dB/octave highpass crossover

• 6dB/octave lowpass crossover

• Laminated steel core inductors prevent distortion

• Neodymium tweeter magnet material

• Teteron dome tweeter material

• Kevlar woofer cone material with rubber surround

• Debris resistant woofer basket

• Aimable swivel tweeter (except TD622C and TD822C)

• Aluminum grille

• Air core highpass inductors

• Input binding posts accept up to 8 gauge wire

Painting Your Loudspeakers..

DCM Time Domain In-Wall and In-Ceiling Series speakers are designed to accept all types of interior

and exterior paints. Spray or roller application should provide excellent results. A paint shield is included

with all DCM speakers to protect the drivers during the painting process. The cloth inserts in the grilles

should be removed before the speakers are painted. They should be placed back in the grilles after the

paint is dry.

Loudspeaker Placement..

DCM Time Domain In-Wall and In-Ceiling Series speakers are designed to work within any interior deco-

rating scheme. They can be installed in virtually any location where ﬂush mounting is possible. To maxi-

mize their acoustical performance, however, certain guidelines should be followed. For the best stereo

reproduction the two loudspeakers should be placed an equal distance from your listening position and

separated so that the angle between them, at the listening position, is between 40 and 60 degrees. See

Figure 1 and Figure 2.
