Fundamental safety warnings

• Read the instructions carefully.The appliance should

be used for domestic cleaning only following these

instructions and only with the tools supplied. The

manufacturer declines all liability for damage deriving

from improper use of the appliance, for example to

Using the cleaning tools

Pressthe“hard oors” pedal ( ) (Fig. 6):): this position

is recommended for in-depth cleaning and oors with

pronouncedjoints;pressthe“carpets”pedal( )(Fig.7):the

brushisreadytocleanfabricsurfacesorvacuumupcoarsedirt

(e.g.largebreadcrumbs).

tocleandelicateoors(e.g.parquet).Forthistypeofsurface,

pressthepedal( )(g.8).

Avoidvacuumingoverrugfringesastheycouldbedamagedby

Overfrequentuseoftheturbobrushoveralongperiodcould

damageparticularlydelicaterugsorcarpets.

Beforeusingtheappliance,extractthepowercablecompletely

andplugintothemains.Torewindthecable,unplugandpress

thecablewindpedal (g.12).

Operation

Toturnthevacuumcleaneronando,lightlypressthepedal

switch (g.13).

Electronic suction power regulation

Theelectronic regulator enablessuction power to bevaried

accordingtothetypeofsurfacetobecleaned.

The maximum power of the appliance can therefore be

exploitedtovacuumdustfromcarpetsorhardoors(marble,

ceramics,cotto,etc)andalowersuctionpowertocleancurtains

orotherlightfabrics.

Cleaning

EPS (Electronic Protection System) dust bag full

indicator

Theindicatorlightsupwhenthevacuumductisblockedorthe

dustbagisfull.

Quandosiaccende(g.16A),procedereallasostituzioneWhen

itcomeson(g.16A),replacethebag.Inmodelswithbutton

controller,allthreeindicatorlightsonthepowerregulator(g.

16B)comeontoshowthatthesystemisactivated.

If youcontinue to use theappliance after the indicatorhas

comeon,thevacuumpowerisreducedautomatically.Thisis

asafetydevicetoavoiddamagetothemotor.

OncethecauseleadingtheEPSsystemtointervenehasbeen

removed,turntheapplianceothenonagainbypressingthe

pedal .Thisistheonlywaytoturntheappliancebackon.

Replacingthedustbag

To change the paper dust bag, pull the bag compartment

opening lever (g. 17) and lift the cover. Remove the bag

holder(g.18).Placethebagholderoverarubbishbin,close

thebagbypullingthetabonthecardboard(g.19)anddrop

itintothebin.

Replacewithanewbag,putthebagholderbackandclosethe

dustbagcompartmentagainexertinglightpressure.

To guarantee vacuuming eciency and exploit the

full capacity ofthe bags, usebags authorised bythe

manufactureronly.

Youshouldchangethedustbagfrequentlywhenvacuuming

upverynedirtsuchasour,talcumpowder,etc.

Pleasenote:Theappliancehasasafetydevicewhichprevents

thedustbagcompartmentcoverbeingclosedwhenthereisno

dustbaginplace.
