2 Introduction

dLAN is an intelligent, secure technology that lets you

set up a home network easily, quickly and economical-

ly via your household electrical wiring, without the

need for complex and expensive dedicated cabling.

2.1 What exactly is dLAN?

The dLAN (direct L Aocal rea Network) uses the ho

hold power grid to transfer data between compute

and other network components equipped with suitab

adapters. As a result, any electrical socket can be us

as a network access point. The data is modulated pri

lines. State-of-the-art technology ensures that th

2.2 What is WLAN?

To set up a dLAN network, you need

at least two dLAN devices

(200 Mbps, 500 Mbps, 600 Mbps or

1200 Mbps).

The device may be used only indoors.

Before the networking procedure, write down

the WiFi key of the dLAN 550+ WiFi. You can

find this unique key on the rear side of the

housing.

Enter the WiFi key in your laptop, tablet or

smartphone later as a network security key to

establish an encrypted connection with the WiFi

network dLAN 550+ WiFi.
