3. Health and Safety Information
Important: Read all the Health and Safety instructions before
attempting to operate, maintain or repair this product. Failure to
follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the
user or the product.
• Maintain the transformer in good condition. ALWAYS check
the transformer, sockets and power cord for signs of damage
or wear before EVERY use. Any repairs must be carried out by
a fully qualied electrician.
WARNING!
DO NOT use the product if it is
damaged in any way.
• DO NOT use this product in environments where ammable
or explosive substances are present.
• ALWAYS ensure that this product is compatible with the
intended power supply; it is intended ONLY for connection
to domestic power supplies rated at 230V AC.
• This is a Class I appliance: there MUST be an earth
connection in the power supply.
• ALWAYS ensure that this product is compatible with the
tool to be connected; it is ONLY intended to supply
110V AC power.

1. Intended Use
This portable site transformer is designed to converts 230V
electrical supplies to a 110V output.
Suitable for intermittent running of power tools and continuous
running of lighting products up to the rated value.
Any other application beyond the conditions established for use
will be considered misuse. Draper Tools accepts no responsibility
for improper use of this product.

WARNING!
30620 - 29kg, take care when lifting.
• DO NOT connect an extension cord to the 230V power
supply; extensions cords may ONLY be used with the 110V
outputs and must NOT exceed 50m in length.
• The supply cord is not replaceable. If the cord is damaged the
transformer will need to be disposed of.
• DO NOT pull or carry the product by the power cord or use
the cord to remove the plug from a socket.
WARNING!
This product will become hot during use;
DO NOT touch or cover the product during or
immediately after use and allow the product to cool
thoroughly before handling or storing it.
DO NOT use the transformer continuously for more the
5minutes without a rest period of 15minutes.
• Use this product ONLY on heat-resistant surfaces.
• Keep this product out of reach of children.
• DO NOT expose this product to liquids, wet environments
or frost.
• NEVER exceed the maximum load of the product.
• ALWAYS operate, transport and store this product in an
upright position.
4. Usage Modes
The transformer can accommodate dierent loads according to
the way in which it is used:
• When used intermittently for short periods, a load of up to
50% of the maximum rated power may be applied to the
transformer. Important: NEVER exceed the maximum rated
load of the product.
Important: When used intermittently, the product MUST be
allowed to rest for 15 minutes after every 5 minutes of use.
• Important: Continuous use is intended for low-wattage
appliances ONLY. Continuous use to power higher-wattage
appliances will overload the product and may cause
signicant damage to the circuitry.
5. Overload Protection
The transformer is equipped with an overload circuit breaker. If
the circuit breaker trips, switch o, disconnect all appliances
and allow the transformer to cool before gently pressing the
reset button. If the breaker trips frequently, contact Draper Tools
for support.
6. Disposal
At the end of its working life, dispose of the product responsibly
and in line with local regulations. Recycle where possible.
• DO NOT dispose of this product with domestic waste; most
local authorities provide appropriate recycling facilities.
• DO NOT incinerate this product.as this may release toxic or
corrosive substances.
7. Warranty
Should the tool develop a fault, return the complete tool to your
nearest distributor or contact Draper Tools directly. Proof of
purchase must be provided.
If, upon inspection, it is found that the fault occurring is due to
defective materials or workmanship, repairs will be carried out
free of charge. This warranty covers parts and labour for
12months. However, if the tools are hired out, the warranty
period is 90 days from the date of purchase.
This warranty does not apply to any consumable parts, batteries
or normal wear and tear, nor does it cover any damage caused
by misuse, careless or unsafe handling, alterations, accidents,
or repairs attempted or made by any personnel other than the
authorised Draper Tools repair agent.
