is a 4 stage OTA-based phaser with a diverse feature set that can
go from stationary and resonant, to slow and mellow and on through fast and swirly. It
has a three-way toggle switch to select between the ranges of modulation: Rate 1 is
slow sweep mode, Rate 2 kills the LFO and allows you to use the Grand Orbiter as a
xed resonant lter and Rate 3 is fast sweep mode. The master Rate control ne tunes
the speed of the LFO in each of these modes and the ashing red LED acts as a visual
indicator, even when the effect is in bypass mode. The Depth control blends the shifted
signal in with the dry signal and controls the intensity of the effect. The Sweep control
governs the peak frequency of the phased signal’s tone, turned full clockwise, the sweep
is lively and intense; whereas turning counterclockwise yields a darker, more laid back
peak. The Resonance provides a wide range of control over regeneration and at higher
settings adds a more pronounced and resonant tone. You can also use the Grand Orbiter
as a true pitch vibrato with the “Phase/Vibrato” switch. When in “Vibrato” mode, the dry
signal is removed and the Depth controls acts as a volume control. This pedal is 100%
analog, true bypass and built by entirely by hand in beachy Akron, Ohio.
Depth: Controls the amount of phase effect mixed with dry signal. Clockwise for more
intense phasing, counterclockwise for less. In “Vibrato” mode, this acts as a volume control.
Rate: Controls the speed of the LFO. Faster clockwise, slower counterclockwise.
Sweep: Controls the frequency peak of the sweep. Higher peak clockwise, lower peak
Resonance: Controls the regeneration of the phased signal. More resonant clockwise,
more subtle counterclockwise.

Tempo des Filters in allen drei Modi feiner abstimmen, wobei die blinkende rote LED als
Anzeige dient, auch wenn sich das Gerät im Bypass bendet. Der Depth-Regler mischt
das bearbeitete Signal mit dem Dry-Signal und bestimmt die Intensität des Effekts. Der

lebendig und intensiv, während ganz rechts ein dunklerer, entspannterer Sound zu hören
ist. Der Resonance-Regler bietet eine große Spanne an Einstellungsmöglichkeiten des
Effektcharakters . Darüber hinaus kann man den Grand Orbiter mittels des „Phase/
Vibrato“-Schalters auch als echtes Pitch-Vibrato verwenden. Im „Vibrato“-Mode wird das
Dry Signal gemutet und der Depth-Regler steuert die Lautstärke. Dieses Pedal ist 100%

leggere attentamente questo manuale. Grand Orbiter è un phaser “OTA-based” (Operational
Transconductance Amplier) a 4 stadi, dotato di un set variegato di controlli che permettono
di impostare effetti che spaziano tra le sonorità stazionarie e risonanti, lente e suadenti,
no a quelle più veloci e vorticose. Dispone di un selettore a tre posizioni per selezionare
diverse gamme di modulazione: Rate 1 è la modalità con sweep lento, Rate 2 annulla
l’LFO permettendo di usare Grand Orbiter come un ltro di risonanza sso, mentre Rate 3
è la modalità con sweep rapido. Il controllo generale Rate permette di regolare nemente
la velocità dell’LFO in ciascuna delle tre modalità, con il lampeggiare del LED rosso ad
indicarne la velocità, anche quando l’effetto è in modalità bypass. La manopola Depth
miscela il segnale processato con quello diretto e controlla l’intensità dell’effetto. Il controllo
Sweep governa la frequenza di picco della timbrica phased applicata al segnale: ruotando
in senso orario il movimento dell’effetto è intenso ed esuberante, mentre ruotando in senso
antiorario si ottiene un picco più cupo e rilassato. La manopola Resonance fornisce un’ampia
gamma di controllo sulla rigenerazione dell’effetto e, impostando livelli elevati, permette di
conferire una timbrica più risonante e pronunciata. È possibile utilizzare Grand Orbiter anche
come un vero pitch vibrato tramite il selettore Phase / Vibrato. In modalità “Vibrato”, il segnale
diretto viene rimosso e il controllo Depth regola il volume.
Depth: Controlla la quantità di effetto phase miscelata al segnale diretto. Ruotando in
senso orario e antiorario si ottiene rispettivamente un phasing più e meno intenso. In
modalità “Vibrato”, questa manopola agisce come un controllo di volume.
Rate: Controlla la velocità dell’LFO. Più veloce in senso orario, più lento in senso antiorario.
Sweep: Controlla la frequenza di picco del movimento dell’effetto. Picco più elevato in
senso orario, picco più basso in senso antiorario.
Resonance: Controlla la rigenerazione del segnale “phased”. Maggiore risonanza in
senso orario, più discreta in senso antiorario.
Rate 1 | 2 | 3: Modica la gamma del controllo di velocità. Rate 1 è la modalità con
movimento lento, Rate 2 annulla l’LFO, per usare Grand Orbiter come un ltro di
risonanza sso, e Rate 3 è la modalità con movimento rapido.
Phase / Vibrato: Taglia il segnale diretto per creare un effetto vibe/vibrato in base alle impostazioni
degli altri controlli. Il Vibrato si crea abbassando il livello del controllo Resonance.
I nostri pedali fanno uso di alimentatori DC standard a 9 volt, dotati di connettore barrel
da 2.1mm con polo negativo al centro. Raccomandiamo sempre l’uso di alimentatori
specici per pedali, con trasformatore isolato di tipo da parete, oppure alimentatori con
uscite multiple isolate. I pedali generano rumore extra nel caso in cui l’alimentazione
presenti un’oscillazione residua o sia poco pulita. Gli alimentatori di tipo switching, quelli
per il collegamento a catena oppure gli alimentatori non specici per pedali, non ltrano
l’alimentazione non pulita e lasciano passare rumori indesiderati. Non operare mai con
