Installing the batteries and
To pair or re-pair the main unit with the outdoor
sensor, the batteries must be installed in the main
unit first. The units enter pairing mode immediately
after installing the batteries.
1. Place the main unit and sensor next to each other.
2. Prepare the new batteries for both units (4 x AA
alkaline batteries, 2 for each unit, supplied).
NOTE: Use alkaline dry batteries. Do not use

pressing and sliding the cover down.
4. Insert the batteries into the main unit, following
the +/- polarities indicated in the battery
compartment. The main unit will turn on and
enter pairing mode for 3 minutes and the icon
will start flashing on the display. Only the indoor
temperature and humidity readings will be shown,
the outdoor readings will be empty “– –”.
5. Immediately insert the batteries into the sensor,
following the +/- polarities. The sensor will enter
pairing mode and automatically pair with the main
unit. When the units are paired successfully, the
icon will stop flashing and turn solid on the
display, and the outdoor readings will be shown.
6. Close the battery covers.

readings view if no button is pressed for 5 seconds.
NOTE: All recorded maximum (MAX) and minimum
(MIN) indoor and outdoor readings will be
automatically cleared every 24 hours.
• If you need to manually clear the maximum (MAX)
and minimum (MIN) indoor and outdoor readings,
press and hold the Memory (MEM) button for
3 seconds in any view. Once cleared, a new 24-
hour monitoring cycle will begin. The maximum
(MAX) and minimum (MIN) readings views will
temporarily show “– –” in the readings when
accessed, until more data is recorded.
