Safety instructions
Please read the instructions carefully before using
the unit and keep them for future reference. Should
the unit be given to someone else, please include
this user manual too.
This unit must not be used by people (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
knowledge of the unit, unless they can be supervised
or receive prior instruction regarding how to safely
use the unit and understand the risks involved.
Children should not play with the unit.
This unit has been designed for indoor household
use.
Do not install the unit:
- near sources of naked flames;
- in direct sunlight;
- near heat sources;
- near or on other significant heat-generating
equipment;
- in places subject to constant vibration;
- in damp places or locations where it may be
exposed to water.
If exposed to water, remove the batteries
immediately and contact the seller.
Never drop, tamper, disassemble or attempt to
carried out by qualified personnel.
Battery-related safety instructions
Do not dispose of batteries with household waste.
Dispose of batteries in accordance with local
regulations.
Warning! Risk of explosion! Batteries
must never be disassembled, buried,
pierced or short-circuited.
The batteries must be properly replaced with an
identical or equivalent battery model. Do not combine
old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
Keep new and used batteries out of the reach of
children.
Warning! Do not let children change the
batteries.
In the event of a leak, avoid any contact with the
skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
Immediately remove the old batteries from the unit.
Remove the batteries whenever the unit will not be
used for a long period of time.
There is a risk of explosion should batteries
be thrown into a fire or hot oven, mechanically
crushed or cut.
Extreme high or low temperatures to which the
batteries may be subjected during use, storage
and transport:
- During use: between -10 and +45 °C
- Storage: between -10 and +45 °C
- Transport: between -10 et +45 °C
Should batteries be left in an extremely hot
environment, they could explode or start leaking
flammable liquid or gas.
If a battery is subjected to extremely low
atmospheric pressure, it may explode or start
leaking flammable liquid or gas.
WARNING! Do not ingest the battery, Chemical
Burn Hazard.
If the battery compartment does not close
securely, stop using the product and keep it away
from children.
CAUTION! Risk of fire or explosion if the battery is
replaced by an incorrect type.

Unpack and remove all labels from the unit. Please
check that all of the units parts are included and
intact. If the unit is damaged or faulty, do not use
it and take it to your retailer or after-sales service
centre.
Keep all packaging out of the reach of children.
There is a risk of accidents if children play with
packaging materials.
Intended use
This product is for domestic use only. It has not
been designed for industrial or professional use.
Any other use may damage the product or cause
injury.

Installing the batteries and
pairing
To pair or re-pair the main unit with the outdoor
sensor, the batteries must be installed in the main
unit first. The units enter pairing mode immediately
after installing the batteries.
1. Place the main unit and sensor next to each other.
2. Prepare the new batteries for both units (4 x AA
alkaline batteries, 2 for each unit, supplied).
NOTE: Use alkaline dry batteries. Do not use
rechargeable batteries.
3. Remove the battery covers from the units by
pressing and sliding the cover down.
4. Insert the batteries into the main unit, following
the +/- polarities indicated in the battery
compartment. The main unit will turn on and
enter pairing mode for 3 minutes and the icon
will start flashing on the display. Only the indoor
temperature and humidity readings will be shown,
the outdoor readings will be empty “– –”.
5. Immediately insert the batteries into the sensor,
following the +/- polarities. The sensor will enter
pairing mode and automatically pair with the main
unit. When the units are paired successfully, the
icon will stop flashing and turn solid on the
display, and the outdoor readings will be shown.
6. Close the battery covers.
Installation
Install the units up to 100 metres apart, without
obstructions.
The main unit is suitable for tabletop use or wall
hanging.
Install the outdoor sensor near a window or in a
sheltered outdoor location protected from direct
sunlight, rain and water. Do not expose the sensor
to water to prevent damage.
Operation
Basic functions
The main unit displays current indoor temperature
and humidity readings, and displays outdoor
readings and weather forecast when the outdoor
sensor is paired.
The outdoor sensor will automatically transmit the
outdoor readings to the main unit.
To view the maximum (MAX) and minimum (MIN)
indoor and outdoor readings recorded, press the
Memory (MEM) button repeatedly to toggle the
display between the maximum (MAX), minimum
(MIN), or current readings view.
The display automatically returns to the current
readings view if no button is pressed for 5 seconds.
NOTE: All recorded maximum (MAX) and minimum
(MIN) indoor and outdoor readings will be
automatically cleared every 24 hours.
If you need to manually clear the maximum (MAX)
and minimum (MIN) indoor and outdoor readings,
press and hold the Memory (MEM) button for
3 seconds in any view. Once cleared, a new 24-
hour monitoring cycle will begin. The maximum
(MAX) and minimum (MIN) readings views will
temporarily show “– in the readings when
accessed, until more data is recorded.
The error codes (too low) or (too LL.L HH.H
high) will be displayed if the temperature is outside
the specified range.
Trend
The (or ) trend icon will be displayed next to
the indoor or outdoor temperature reading if it has
increased (or decreased) by 1 °C compared to the
last data or last hour.
The (or ) trend icon will be displayed next
to the indoor or outdoor humidity reading if it has
increased (or decreased) by 5% compared to the
last data or last hour.
If the increase or decrease is less than 1 °C or 5%
compared to the last hour, no trend icon will be
displayed next to the corresponding reading.

When the temperature is less than or equal to 15°C:
If the humidity is less than or equal to 30%, it will
be sunny;
If the humidity is between 31% and 50%, it will be
partly cloudy;
If the humidity is between 51% and 59%, it will be
cloudy;
If the humidity is greater than or equal to 60%, it
will be rainy.
When the temperature is between 15.1 and 25°C:
If the humidity is less than or equal to 35%, it will
be sunny;
If the humidity is between 36% and 55%, it will be
partly cloudy;
If the humidity is between 56% and 64%, it will be
cloudy;
If the humidity is greater than or equal to 65%, it
will be rainy.
When the temperature is greater than 25°C:
If the humidity is less than or equal to 49%, it will
be sunny;
If the humidity is between 50% and 59%, it will be

If the humidity is between 60% and 70%, it will be
cloudy;
If the humidity is greater than or equal to 71%, it
will be rainy.
The change to a snowy day occurs when the outside

The will flash on the display if the temperature
is 0 °C to 2.9 °C.
The will appear solid on the display if the
temperature is below 0 °C.
Cleaning and maintenance
CAUTION!
Always remove the batteries before cleaning the
unit.
Never immerse the unit in water or any other
liquid.
Never use abrasive products, metal brushes,
scourers, wire sponges or sharp utensils.
Clean the unit on a regular basis to ensure its
longevity.
Clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Make sure that
no liquid enters the inside of the unit.
Disposing of your old unit
SEPARATE COLLECTIONS FOR ELECTRONIC AND
ELECTRICAL DEVICES
This product must not be disposed of or
recycled with other household waste when
it reaches the end of its useful life.
The product and its
packaging should be
collected and recycled
separately from other
waste.
WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY WASTE?
Please dispose of your waste in accordance with
the advice below to reduce the impact of your new
purchase on the environment.
You are legally responsible for separating the waste
associated with this product (and any accessories) so
that it can be recycled, including any instructions or/
or packaging.
Electric and electronic appliances should not be
sorted or recycled together with other household
waste.
Keep used products and packaging out of the reach
of children, as they can pose a safety hazard.
Please retain the instructions and any other notices
throughout the service life of the device, and include
these documents with the device if it is passed on to
third party.
For packaging and other notices, please refer to the
recycling instructions on the main packaging, and to
the advice available on the Internet.
For the product itself, please refer to the instructions
available on the Internet.
If you do not have Internet access, please contact
your local authority for advice on how to sort and
recycle your waste.
For your childrens safety, please store your old
devices in a safe place outside your home until they
are collected.
SEPARATE COLLECTIONS FOR BATTERIES
The batteries must be changed in
accordance with current disposal
regulations. Please take the used
batteries to a dedicated recycling
centre, in order for them to be
disposed of in an environmentally
friendly manner.
Battery recycling
To reduce the risk of fire or burns, never
disassemble, burn, bury, crush, drill or short-
circuit batteries.
Do not throw the batteries out with household
waste.
To preserve the environment, dispose of batteries
in accordance with local regulations.
Warranty conditions
This product is guaranteed against faults caused
by defects in manufacturing or the materials used
for a period of two years, starting from the date of
purchase.* This warranty does not cover defects
or damage caused by failure to install the device
correctly, incorrect use of the product, or excessive
wear and tear.
