Detection (LCDI)andInterruption safetyplug.Thisdeviceprovides

protection the thetoreduce riskoffireduetoarcingfaultsin  power

supplycord. usingBefore yourportableairconditioner,  follow the

instructionsbelowtoensurethattheLCDIplug workingis properly:



1.Plugthepowercordto a grounded outlet. 

2.Press the the TEST button on LCDIplug.Thisshouldtrip  the plug

andcutthepowerto          the air conditioner. If the plug does not trip and

youare able toturnon contacttheunit,please EdgeStar support.

DONOTUSEYOURPORTABLEAIRCONDITIONERIF   THE TEST FAILS.



Press the RESETbuttontostartusing  your air conditioner.



DonotusetheTESTandRESETbuttonsas an ON/OFFswitch.

Electrical products shouldnotbedisposedofwithhouseholdwaste.

Pleasecontact recyclingyourlocal centerfor     more information on how to

recycleelectronicwaste.

xDo         not use the unit in extremely humid or wet environments.

xDo       not spray water and wet the housing or  control panel.

xDo       not pull the unit by the cord.

xAlways     turn the unit off and unplugit fromtheoutletwhencleaning.

xUnplug         the unit if it is not going to be used     for a long period of time.

xDo      not operate the unit with a damaged     plug or a loose socket.

xUse      only the correct power supply with appropriateamperage.

xIf   the power cord is         damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, a

service oragent, qualifiedtechnician.

xDo            not remove any part of the casing unless instructed by an authorized

technician.


