automatically and install the drivers.

CHECK INSTALLED DRIVER

Open the >Device manager<. Now you should see at „USB-Controller“ the following new entry:

If you see this or a similar information the hub is installed correctly.

Der robuste und industrietaugliche EX 12270HMS ist ein USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 Metall Hub für bis - -

zu zehn Endgeräte, der an der Wand oder auf einer Hutschiene montiert werden kann. Er wird

über ein USB C Kabel mit dem Host PC verbunden und verfügt über zehn USB C 3.2 Gen 2x1 - - -

Ports für Endgeräte mit einer hervorragenden Performance von bis zu 10 Gbit/s (SuperSpeed

USB 10Gbps). Über die externe Stromversorgung können bei einer Maximalleistung von 79.5

Watt bis zu 2.4 A pro Port zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Dies ermöglicht das problemlose

Aufladen von iPhone, iPad, Smartphone und Tablet. Die Stromversorgung erfolgt über das

mitgelieferte Steckernetzteil oder ein optional erhältliches DIN Rail Netzteil (Self Power).- -

HARDWARE INSTALLATION

DRIVER INSTALLATION

Because there are large differences between PC s, we can give you only a general installation ’

guide for the EX 12270HMS. Please refer your computer s reference manual whenever in -’

doubt.

1. - -Install the EX 12270HMS on a mounting rail by using the DIN Rail Kit or on the wall using

the Wall Mounting Brackets.

2. Connect the USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 cable with the USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 Upstream C Port at the EX- -

12270HMS.

4. Now connect the power connector of the supplied power supply to the DC socket of the

hub or connect a compatible DIN Rail power supply to the terminal block. Then plug the -

mains plug of the power supply unit into a wall socket.

5. Now connect the other end from the USB 3.2 Gen 2 cable (C Plug) to the USB C Port at - -

your PC.

Only for use with the power supply included in the

scope of delivery or another compliant power supply!

ATTENTION!

Please pay attention to the correct polarity!

Never connect power to GND it will destroy your

Hardware!

Never connect the power supply to the terminal block

while it is switched on!

Redundant power supply is possible by simultaneous use of DC Connector and Terminal -

Block. Both power supplies must use the same voltage!

The rugged, industrial grade EX 12270HMS is a metal USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 hub for up to ten - -

devices that can be mounted on a wall or on a DIN Rail. It connects to the host PC via a USB- -C

cable and provides ten USB C 3.2 Gen 2x1 ports for end devices with outstanding performance -

of up to 10Gbps (SuperSpeed USB 10Gbps). Using the external power supply, the hub provides

up to 2.4A per port with a maximum output of 79.5W. This makes it easy to charge iPhones,

iPads, smartphones and tablets. Power is supplied via the included power supply or an optional

DIN Rail power supply (self powered).- -

HARDWARE INSTALLATION

TREIBER INSTALLATION

Beachten Sie bitte die folgenden Installationshinweise. Da es große Unterschiede zwischen

PC‘s gibt, können wir Ihnen nur eine generelle Anleitung zum Anschluss des EX 12270HMS -

geben. Bei Unklarheiten halten Sie sich bitte an die Bedienungsanleitung Ihres

Computersystems.

1. Installieren Sie den EX 12270HMS mit dem DIN Rail Kit auf eine Tragschiene oder mit - -

den Wandmontagehalterungen an die Wand.

2. Verbinden Sie das mitgelieferte USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 Kabel mit dem USB 3.2 Gen 2x1

Upstream C Anschluss des Hubs.-

3. Schließen Sie jetzt den Stromanschluss des mitgelieferten Netzteils an die DC Buchse des -

Hubs an oder verbinden Sie ein kompatibles DIN Rail Netzteil mit dem Terminal Block. -

Stecken Sie anschließend den Netzstecker des Netzteils in eine Steckdose.

4. Verbinden Sie nun das andere Ende (C Anschluss) des mitgelieferten USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 -

Kabels mit der USB C Buchse an Ihrem PC.-

Alle Betriebssysteme

Nach Abschluss der Hardwareinstallation erkennt das Betriebssystem den EX 12270HMS -

automatisch und installiert diesen.

ÜBERPRÜFEN DES INSTALLIERTEN TREIBER

Öffnen Sie den . Jetzt müssten Sie unter folgende >Geräte Manager<-„ “ USB Controller-

Einträge sehen:

Ist dieser oder ein ähnlicher Eintrag vorhanden, ist der USB Hub richtig installiert.

Nur zur Verwendung mit im Lieferumfang enthaltenem

Netzteil oder einem anderem konformen Netzteil!

ACHTUNG!

Bitte auf die richtige Polarität achten!

Schließen Sie niemals Strom an Ground an, da dies Ihre

Hardware zerstören kann!

Netzteil nie eingeschaltet mit dem Terminal Block

verbinden!

Redundante Stromversorgung möglich durch gleichzeitige Verwendung der DC Buchse -

und Terminal Block. Beide Netzteile müssen die gleiche Spannung verwenden!
