DRIVER INSTALLATION
Because there are large differences between PC s, we can give you only a general installation ’
guide for the EX 12297HMS. Please refer your computer s reference manual whenever in -’
doubt.
1. - -Install the EX 12297HMS on a mounting rail by using the DIN Rail Kit or on the wall using
the Wall Mounting Brackets.
2. Connect the USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 cable with the USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 Upstream C Port at the EX- -
12297HMS.
4. Now connect the power connector of the supplied power supply to the DC socket of the
hub or connect a compatible DIN rail power supply to the terminal block. Then plug the
mains plug of the power supply unit into a wall socket.
5. - -Now connect the other end from the USB 3.2 Gen 2 cable (C Plug) to the USB C Port at
your PC.
All Operating Systems
After the hardware installation the Operating System will recognize the EX 12297HMS -
automatically and install the drivers.
CHECK INSTALLED DRIVER
Open the >Device manager<. Now you should see at „USB Controller-“ the following new entry:
If you see this or a similar information the hub is installed correctly.

Der robuste und industrietaugliche EX 12297HMS ist ein USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 Metall Hub für bis - -
zu sieben Endgeräte, der an der Wand oder auf einer Hutschiene montiert werden kann. Er wird
über ein USB C Kabel mit dem Host PC verbunden und verfügt über zwei USB C 3.2 Gen 2x1 - - -
Ports und fünf USB A 3.2 Gen 1 Ports für Endgeräte. Die beiden USB C Ports bieten eine - -
hervorragende Performance von bis zu 10 Gbit/s (SuperSpeed USB 10Gbps), während die
Datenübertragung an den fünf USB A Ports bis zu 5 Gbit/s (SuperSpeed USB 5Gbps) beträgt. -
Über die externe Stromversorgung können bei einer Maximalleistung von 56 Watt bis zu 2.5 A
pro Port zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Dies ermöglicht das problemlose Aufladen von iPhone,
iPad, Smartphone und Tablet. Die Stromversorgung erfolgt über das mitgelieferte
Steckernetzteil oder ein optional erhältliches DIN Rail Netzteil (Self Power).- -

HARDWARE INSTALLATION
TREIBER INSTALLATION
Beachten Sie bitte die folgenden Installationshinweise. Da es große Unterschiede zwischen
PC‘s gibt, können wir Ihnen nur eine generelle Anleitung zum Anschluss des EX 12297HMS -
geben. Bei Unklarheiten halten Sie sich bitte an die Bedienungsanleitung Ihres
Computersystems.
1. -Installieren Sie den EX 12297HMS mit dem DIN Rail Kit auf eine Tragschiene oder mit -
den Wandmontagehalterungen an die Wand.
2. Verbinden Sie das mitgelieferte USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 Kabel mit dem USB 3.2 Gen 2x1
Upstream C Anschluss des Hubs.-
3. Schließen Sie jetzt den Stromanschluss des mitgelieferten Netzteils an die DC-Buchse des
Hubs an oder verbinden Sie ein kompatibles DIN Rail Netzteil mit dem Terminal Block. -
Stecken Sie anschließend den Netzstecker des Netzteils in eine Steckdose.
4. Verbinden Sie nun das andere Ende (C Anschluss) des mitgelieferten USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 -
Kabels mit der USB C-Buchse an Ihrem PC.
Alle Betriebssysteme
Nach Abschluss der Hardwareinstallation erkennt das Betriebssystem den EX 12297HMS -
automatisch und installiert diesen.
ÜBERPRÜFEN DES INSTALLIERTEN TREIBER
Öffnen Sie den . Jetzt müssten Sie unter folgende >Geräte Manager<-„ “ USB Controller-
Einträge sehen:
Ist dieser oder ein ähnlicher Eintrag vorhanden, ist der USB Hub richtig installiert.

The EX 12297HMS is a rugged metal USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 hub for up to seven devices that can be -
wall mounted or DIN rail mounted. It connects to the host PC via a USB C cable and provides - - -
two USB C 3.2 Gen 2x1 ports and five USB A 3.2 Gen 1 ports for end devices. The two USB- - -C
ports offer excellent performance of up to 10Gbps (SuperSpeed USB 10Gbps), while the five
USB A ports transfer data at up to 5Gbps (SuperSpeed USB 5Gbps). Up to 2.5A per port with a -
maximum of 56W is available from the external power supply. This makes it easy to charge
iPhone, iPad, smartphones and tablets. Power is supplied via the plug in power supply unit -
supplied or an optionally available DIN Rail power supply unit (self power).- -
