DRIVER INSTALLATION

Because there are large differences between PC s, we can give you only a general installation ’

guide for the EX 12297HMS. Please refer your computer s reference manual whenever in -’

doubt.

1. - -Install the EX 12297HMS on a mounting rail by using the DIN Rail Kit or on the wall using

the Wall Mounting Brackets.

2. Connect the USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 cable with the USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 Upstream C Port at the EX- -

12297HMS.

4. Now connect the power connector of the supplied power supply to the DC socket of the

hub or connect a compatible DIN rail power supply to the terminal block. Then plug the

mains plug of the power supply unit into a wall socket.

5. - -Now connect the other end from the USB 3.2 Gen 2 cable (C Plug) to the USB C Port at

your PC.

All Operating Systems

After the hardware installation the Operating System will recognize the EX 12297HMS -

automatically and install the drivers.

CHECK INSTALLED DRIVER

Open the >Device manager<. Now you should see at „USB Controller-“ the following new entry:

If you see this or a similar information the hub is installed correctly.

Der robuste und industrietaugliche EX 12297HMS ist ein USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 Metall Hub für bis - -

zu sieben Endgeräte, der an der Wand oder auf einer Hutschiene montiert werden kann. Er wird

über ein USB C Kabel mit dem Host PC verbunden und verfügt über zwei USB C 3.2 Gen 2x1 - - -

Ports und fünf USB A 3.2 Gen 1 Ports für Endgeräte. Die beiden USB C Ports bieten eine - -

hervorragende Performance von bis zu 10 Gbit/s (SuperSpeed USB 10Gbps), während die

Datenübertragung an den fünf USB A Ports bis zu 5 Gbit/s (SuperSpeed USB 5Gbps) beträgt. -

Über die externe Stromversorgung können bei einer Maximalleistung von 56 Watt bis zu 2.5 A

pro Port zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Dies ermöglicht das problemlose Aufladen von iPhone,

iPad, Smartphone und Tablet. Die Stromversorgung erfolgt über das mitgelieferte

Steckernetzteil oder ein optional erhältliches DIN Rail Netzteil (Self Power).- -
