2 Safety

2.1 Safety instructions

–

Only use the product in its original condition without unauthorised modifica-

tions.

–Only use the product if it is in perfect technical condition.

–

Before working on the product, switch off the compressed air supply and lock it

to prevent it from being switched on again.

2.2 Intended use

The vertical pressure shut-off plate enables replacement of a valve under oper-

ating pressure.

Training of qualified personnel

Work on the product may only be carried out by qualified personnel who can

evaluate the work and detect dangers. The qualified personnel have knowledge

and experience in pneumatics.

• Push the fibre optic cable extension onto the electronics module .4 6

Check that the conical ring seal is positioned correctly.7

The tapered side is at the bottom

Place the vertical pressure shut-off plate on the electronics module .1 8

Place the washers in the lateral slots with the rounding outwards.2

Tighten the distance pieces . Observe the tightening torque.3

3. Tighten the screws . Observe the tightening torque.aJ
