DESCRIPTION
LEGACY PLAYER is a free APP available for Android and iOS that allows control of audio devices via
network. You must install this APP on a smartphone or tablet.
You must always have a local network created via a WiFi router to be able to control 1 or more devices
individually or together (multiroom). To do this, all devices (audio equipment and devices with APP installed)
must be connected to the same network, wired or WiFi. Both the WiFi network connection and control will
be done from the APP itself.
NOTE: if this network has access to the Internet, you will have more features within the APP.
DOWNLOAD THE APP
Download the LEGACY PLAYER free app from Play Store or Apple Store APP, and install it on your
smartphone or tablet.
CONNECTING THE AUDIO DEVICE TO A WiFi NETWORK
The device must be on the same network as the smartphone/tablet to be able to control it via the APP. In
order for your device to connect via the WiFi network, you will need to configure the WiFi network on your
device using the LEGACY PLAYER APP. The WiFi network setup on the audio device should only be done
the first time, the audio device will automatically connect and the APP will automatically recognise it on
subsequent connections.
NOTE: please note that the WiFi coverage received by your audio device must be good to prevent any
cut-offs or malfunctions.
IMPORTANT: it is recommended that you place the router and audio device nearby during the process of
connecting the device to the WiFi network.
You can follow the steps below or watch the video tutorial scanning the QR code.
1.- Turn on the device and enter network mode if necessary.
2.- Initialise the application If you have already connected it to the network before, the application will
automatically detect the connected devices. If not, you must configure the WiFi network as described
in point 3 et seq.
NOTE: you must have both WiFi and GPS enabled on your smartphone.
3.- To begin the network configuration of the device select ADD DEVICE, ADD OTHER COMPATIBLE WiiM
SPEAKERS, BUSH and finally SETTING.
NOTE: in this example our device was named FONCAST_9CCA and the network WiFi FONESTAR.
