Important
This appliance is intended for private/ domestic use as an electric lawn scarifier and as an
electric lawn rake, for aerating lawns and grassy areas. It is not designed for use in public
areas, parks, sports areas, or for any agriculture purpose. Using the appliance for any
purpose other that that for which it was intended is dangerous. We accept no
responsibility for any damage, or injury resulting from such use.
Safety Precautions
1. Read this instruction manual carefully and follow the warnings and safety instructions.
2. Never use this appliance in wet weather conditions.
3. Use extreme caution when handling the appliance, as the blades do not stop
immediately after switching it off.
4. Maintain a safe working distance that is well away from bystanders.
5. Keep your hands and feet away from the cutting blades, as they are extremely sharp.
6. If the power cable, or plug becomes damaged immediately switch it off and unplug
from the mains power supply.
7. Always wear protective eye goggles and earmuffs when operating the appliance.
8. Always switch off the appliance, disconnect the power and wait until the blades have
stopped moving before carrying out any maintenance, cleaning or repair work.
9. Comply with the safety information and warnings on the appliance.
10. Whenever carrying out any maintenance, or handling the blades make sure you wear
gloves to protect your hands.
Safety instructions
Before operation
• The appliance must be correctly assembled before use.
• Before use carefully check the appliance for signs of damage. If you notice any
defect do not operate it and take it to your local hardware store for repair.
• Replace worn or damaged parts with original spare parts, as parts not produced
by the manufacturer could result in possible injury.
• Before use, all objects must be removed from the lawn.
• Only work in daylight or sufficiently good artificial light.
• Wear suitable working clothes and non-slip shoes.
