door is open and the safety interlocks are defeated. Invisible laser radiation is present when the CDPlayer's lid is open and the system's interlock has failed or

been defeated. It is very important that you avoid direct exposure to the laser beam at all times. Please do not attempt to defeat or bypass the safety switches.

No sound is heard.

GENERAL

Press the PLAY/PAUSE Button.

VOLUME Control is set to minimum. Adjust the VOLUME Control.

Disc is inserted but tracks are

not displayed.

CD PLAYER

Disc is inserted upside-down. Insert disc correctly (label up).

Disc is seriously warped. Use a ne w disc

Moisture has formed inside the CD deck. Take out the CD and leave the CD player open for

about an hour to dry.

Disc is dirty. Wipe clean with soft Cloth.

Certains sections of the disc are not

played normally.

Disc is scratched. Skip over scratched sections; otherwise, replace

the disc.

Programming your CD tracks

In stop mode:

1. Press the PROG button and the track numbers

will start flashing.

2. Press SKIP/SEARCH - or SKIP/SEARCH + to find

the desired track you would like.

3. Press PROG button again and it will save the track

you picked as the first track on your progam.

Repeat steps 2-3 to program up to 20 tracks.

4. Press PLAY/PAUSE button to start playing your

program.

5. To cancel program press STOP twice

or press the OPEN button.

Note:

You can edit the programmed tracks or add additional

programmed tracks by following the steps above.

Power Source

Connect the AC plug to a 120v AC, 60Hz wall

outlet and then insert pin into DC jack.

Using AC Adaptor

Battery Power

Use (2) “AA” size batteries (Not included)

to power the unit:

1. Remove battery door by pushing down on

tab.

2. Insert two (2) “AA” batteries as shown.

Alkaline batteries are recommended for the

longest playing time.

3. Replace battery door.

WARNING:

Danger of explosion if batteries are incorrectly

replaced. Replace only with the same or

equivalent type.

• Do not mix old and new batteries.

• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or

rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.

• Replace the batteries when the sound becomes

unstable or cannot be heard.

• When you are not going to use your unit for a

long time, remove the batteries to prevent

damage from battery leakage and corrosion.

Listening to a CD

Using the headphones

1. Insert the pin side into the headphone jack.

1. Push the OPEN button and lift the lid up.

2. Place the CD in the unit label side up, close the

lid and press PLAY/PAUSE.

3. Use the VOLUME SWITCH on the side of the

unit to adjust the volume.

4. When searching for a song press the

SKIP/SEARCH + or SKIP/SEARCH - to locate the

song. To fast forward through a song press and

hold the SKIP/SEARCH buttons and release

where desired.

5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to pause the music,

press it again to continue playing.

6. Use BASSBOOST switch to enhance the bass

sound.

7. When done listening press STOP.

Note:

This unit plays CD, CD-R and CD-RW discs.

CD-R/CD-RW discs must first be finalized.

CAUTION:

Set the Volume to a low level before putting on the

headphones. Gradually adjust the Volume to a

comfortable listening level. Please do not play the

volume too loudly for extended periods of time.

Repeat and Random functions

1. Pressing the MODE button shuffles through

REPEAT ONE, REPEAT ALL, and

RANDOM.

The REPEAT modes can be used while playing

programmed tracks see the "Program Play"

section for details on programming tracks.

If RANDOM Play is selected while in Play Mode, the

"RND" Indicator will flash in the LCD. Random

Play will not begin until the next track is selected

using the SKIP/SEARCH Buttons.

If Intro Play is selected while in Play Mode, the

"INTRO" Indicator will flash in the LCD and Intro

Play will not begin until the next track is selected

using the SKIP/SEARCH Buttons.

Escuchando un CD

Utilizando los auriculares

1. Inserte los auriculares en el gato de entrada.

4. Cuando está buscando una canción, presione el botón

SKIP/SEARCH + o SKIP/SEARCH - para localizar la

canción. Para adelantar las canciones, presione y sos_

tenga los botones SKIP/SEARCH y sueltelos cuando

desee.

5. Presione el botón PLAY/PAUSE para pausar. Presionelo

otravez para volver a tocar.

6. Utilice el botón BASSBOOST para realzar el sonido.

7. Cuando termine de tocar, presione STOP.

Nota:

La unidad toca discos CD, CD-R y CD-RW.

Discos CD-R/CD-RW deben ser finalizados.

Nota:

PRECAUCIÓN:

Ajuste el volumen antes de ponerse los auriculares.

ajuste gradualmente el volumes a un nivel confortable.

Favor no tenga el volumen muy alto por periodos de

tiempo extendido.

Funciones de Repetición y Al Azar

1. Al presionar el botón MODE baraja atravez de

REPEAT ONE, REPEAT ALL, y RANDOM.INTRO

NOTA:

Los modos REPEAT pueden ser utilizados cuando

las canciones programadas ven la sección de

"Program Play" para detalles en programación de

canciones.

Si usted selecciona RANDOM PLAY mientras está

tocando, el indicador "RND" pestañará en la pantalla

LCD. RANDOM Play no comenzará hasta que la otra

canción sea seleccionadam, utilizando los botones

SKIP/SEARCH.

Si usted selecciona INTRO PLAY mientras está tocando,el

indicador "INTRO" pestañará en la pantalla LCD. INTRO

PLAY no comenzará hasta que la otra canción sea

seleccionada, utilizando los botones SKIP/SEARCH.

Utilice (2) Pilas de tamaño “AA” (No incluidas)

para encender la unidad.

1. Retire la puerta del compartimento de pilas al

empujar la puerta hacia afuera.

2. Inserte dos pilas (2) “AA” tal como

demonstrado. Pilas Alkaline son recomendadas

para una duración de tocar más larga.

3. Remplace la puerta del compartimento de

pilas.

Programando sus canciones del CD

4. Presione el botón PLAY/PAUSE para comenzar a tocar

las canciones programadas.

5. Para cancelar la programación presione STOP dos vez

o presione el botón de OPEN.

Nota:

Usted puede editar o agregar la programación al seguir los pasos

mencionados arriba.

1. Empuje el botón OPEN y levante la tapa.

2. Coloque el CD en la unidad con la etiqueta hacia arriba,

cierra la tapa y presione PLAY/PAUSE.

3. Utilize el VOLUME SWITCH al lado de la unidad para

ajustar el volumen.
