GAIN CONTROLS
Adjust these
controls to set the
operating level
instrument requires.
MIX / 1-2 switch will toggle
between each channel, if rear
panel DIP switch #1 is set to ‘A-B’.
If DIP switch is set to ‘MIX’, then
this switch will do nothing and
both LEDs will be lit.
LOW SHELF
Boosts or cuts
bass frequencies.
Corner frequency
is around 250Hz.
MID Boosts or cuts
midrange. Fully
clockwise is +12dB
of gain boost, fully
counter-clockwise
is -12dB of cut.
HIGH Boosts or cuts
high frequencies.
Corner frequency is
around 1.5KHz.
BOOST Determines the
amount of boost added to your
signal when you hit the boost
switch. It goes from zero to ten,
which is regretfully one less
than eleven.
MUTE SWITCH mutes all outputs
except the FX send. Use this to tune
silently or unplug your guitar at
setbreak without having to wave
awkwardly to the soundperson.
BOOST switch activates the
boost circuit. Select boost
amount with the ‘BOOST’
knob. DIP switch #2 on rear
panel allows you to deactivate
BOOST on ch1.
SIGNAL LEDs
adjust gain
controls until the
LEDs are steady
green, indicating
a proper signal
level. They start
to ash red well
before clipping,
so if you see a
little red once in
a while, its ok. If
the LEDs are
mostly red, then
turn the gain
control down!
MID Hz Sets the
frequency where
the midrange EQ
is being boosted
or cut. Range
is125Hz to 4KHz.
9VDC / 150mA -
power input. 2.1mm
barrel jack wired tip
negative. Use a
minimum of 200mA
regulated output from
your pedalboard
supply, or use the
incuded 9VDC wall
wart.
DI GROUND
LIFT SWITCH
use this if you
are having
trouble with
hum or buzzing
on stage.
DI OUTPUT
Transformer
isolated DI
output to send
your signal to
the FOH mixer
or an interface.
AMP OUT
a mono,
unbalanced
line level
output for a
stage amp or
whatever else
you might
need it for.
INSERT SEND and
RETURN connect
send to your FX
pedal’s input and
return to FX
pedal’s output.
Place stage tuner
in FX loop and use
‘MUTE’ switch to
tune silently.
1/4” INSTRUMENT
INPUTS for plugging
in your instruments.
ch2 is a TRS jack which
can be used for dual
pickup systems, where
the incoming Ring
gets sent to ch1. Both
have a 1MEG Ohm
Imput Impedance.
DIP SWITCHES
1. Up for MIX
mode, down for
A-B mode
2. UP to defeat
BOOST on ch1
3. UP to activate
12v on ch1
4. UP to activate
12v on ch2
PHASE REVERSE
Reverses the
polarity of each
channel. Use to
achieve best phase
alignment of each
channel relative to
each other, or
relative to other
signals in a mix.
POWER
INDICATOR
illuminates green
when unit has
power. Use a
minimum of
200mA regulated
output from your
pedalboard
supply, or use the
incuded 9VDC
wall wart.
MIX control
When unit is in
‘MIX Mode’, this
knob adjusts the
blend between
the two
channels.
