• Do not operate this product in any area where there is a risk of the unit

falling into or being exposed to water.

• Opening windows or doors while operating this device may

affect performance.

• This device should not be used in the presence of oxygen or any

flammable materials or gases.

DANGER: Electrical Shock

• Use this product only as described in this manual.

• Operate this product on 120 V AC, 60 HZ only.

• Do not operate without cover in place.

• Do not defeat the interlock switch.

• Do not operate with an extension cord.

• To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this equipment has a polarized

plug (one blade is wider that the other). This plug will fit in a polarized

outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse

the plug. If it still does not fit, contact qualified personnel to install the

proper outlet. DO NOT alter the plug in any way.

• Do not operate this product if there is any physical damage to the unit.

• This product is for indoor use only.

TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY:

• Always unplug the unit before servicing.

• Close supervision is necessary when operated by children and pets.

• Do not handle the unit or plug with wet hands.

• Keep the product away from heated surfaces.

• Do not put any object into the opening or block airflow to the unit.

MISAPPLYING OR MISUSING THE UV-C BULB COULD CAUSE INJURY TO THE EYES OR SKIN. NEVER USE THE BULB WITHOUT

INSTALLING IT IN THE UNIT AS INSTRUCTED. NEVER OPERATE THE UNIT WITHOUT THE TOP CAP IN PLACE.

WARNING

This product can be serviced or maintained only by changing the UV-C bulb. The unit contains no serviceable parts. All parts, except the UV-C bulb, are

warranted for 1-year from date of purchase. See the Limited Warranty. Use of any bulb other than the appropriate Pluggable UV-C Air Sanitizer bulb will void

warranty. You may purchase bulbs (LB1000) directly from Guardian Technologies LLC, or we can provide you with the names of retailers who stock our products

in your area.The health aspects associated with this product and its ability to aid in the disinfection of environmental air have not been investigated by the CSA.

The purchase of the Pluggable UV-C Air Sanitizer unit does not prevent illness.

The 8 hour TWA Ozone for this product is 0.001 ppmv when tested in a 30 3 chamber. The product complies with the maximum allowable concentration of m

ozone of 0.050 parts per million by volume (ppmv) in a 24-hour period. The Health Canada Guideline 2010 recommends that the maximum exposure limit, based
