IB-168SK-B

Trayless Mobile Rack for SATA (III) HDD 3.5”

Content description

1x IB-168 Screws + 2x keys 4x

Pull the spring lock to unload the hard drive

Installation

1. Mount the IB- 168 into a 5.25’’ bay with 4 screws.

2. Connect the 15 pin power cable and SATA data cable on the rear

panel.

If there not a 15 pin SATA power connector on your power is

supply, please buy an adapter that converts the connector from 4pin

(for IDE hard disk drive) to 15pin SATA version.

3. Pull the spring lock to open the front door.

4. Place the SATA hard drive into the -168 with the hard drive IB

label (printed) side upwards.

 The HDD must be put in the right direction. Otherwise the front

panel door will not be closed firmly. The -168 will get damage if IB

closed by force.

5. Press the door to push hard drive into the -168 until door locks. IB

Then lock it with the key. So the HDD is installed

Ejecting a hard drive

1. Unlock the key lock smoothly, pull the spring lock to open the

door. The HDD will be ejected automatically from the - IB 168.

2. Carefully take the hard drive out from the - IB 168.

Hot swap function

If your SATA controller supports the Hot Swap function, the SATA

hard drive can be exchanged via - without shutting down the a IB 168

PC.

Attention:

1. A hard disk may reach over 50°C. It will not burn the fingers, but

please touch it carefully.

2. A hard disk is a sensitive device and needs to be cared specially.

3. Do not eject the hard disk while it is busy.

4. Please hold the disk by edge, not touch the circuit board on it. do

5. We will only provide repair service to our product malfunction

problems, not be responsible for any software, hardware or data

stored within i t.

Ziehen Sie an die Hebeltür, um die Festplatte heraus zu hebeln.

Installation

1. Befestigen Sie das -168 in einen 5, Einschub mit 4 IB 25’’

Schrauben.

2. Schliessen Sie das polige Strom- und das 7polige Datenkabel 15

an.

Ist kein poliges SATA Stromanschluss beim Netzteil vorhanden, 15

können Sie sich einen Adapter besorgen, der den Stromanschluss

von 4polig ür IDE Laufwerk polig umschaltet. (f ) auf 15

3. Ziehen Sie am Griff und öffnen Sie die Hebeltür.

4. Schieben Sie eine SATA Festplatte in das -168 mit dem IB

bedruckten Label oben.

!! Die Festplatte muss in der richtigen Richtung eingeschoben

werden, sonst kann die Tür nicht fest geschlossen werden.

Schliessen mit Gewalt kann Schaden hervorrufen!!

5. Drücken Sie die Hebeltür zu und verriegeln Sie das Schloss mit

dem Schlüssel. So ist die Festplatt installiert.

Ausziehen der Festplatte

1. Öffnen Sie das Schloss mit dem Schlüssel und ziehen Sie

behutsam die Hebeltür. Die Festplatte wird automatisch

ausgehebelt.

2. Fassen Sie an die Rande der Festplatte und ziehen Sie das

Laufwerk vorsichtig aus.

Hot swap Funktion

Wenn Ihr SATA Kontroller die Hot Swap Funktion unterstützt,

können Sie die SATA Festplatte mit Hilfe von IB-168 im Betrieb

wechseln.

Achtung:

1. Eine Festplatte kann über 50°C heiß werden Sie wird zwar nicht .

die Finger verbrennen, muss aber mit Vorsicht angefasst werden.

2. Eine Festplatte ist ein empfindliches Gerät und muss behutsam

behandelt werden.

3. Wechseln Sie die Festplatte nicht, wenn sie noch arbeitet.

4. Fassen Sie nur die Metallrande an, nic aber die Platine! ht

5. Wir bieten nur Reparaturservice für den Defekt am IB-168,

übernehmen aber keine Verantwortung für sonstige Daten,

Software oder Hardware.

Pull the spring lock to unload the hard drive

Installation

1. Installez IB-168 dans une baie 5.25 et visez avec 4 vis

2. Connectez le câble électrique de 15 pins pour SATA HDD et le

câble de SATA donnés sur le panneau dárrière.

3. Tirez la serrure à ressort pour ouvrir la porte frontale.

4. Placez le disque dur SATA dans le IB-168 avec l’étiquette

(imprimée) du disque dur côté en haut.

 Le HDD doit être bien placé dans le bon sens. Sinon, la porte

frontale du panneau ne sera pas bien fermée. En forçant la

fermeture de la porte, le IB- sera abîmée. 168

5. Pressez la porte et poussez le disque dur dans le IB-168 jusqu’à

que la porte soit verrouillée, ensuite fermez la avec la clé. HDD est

installé.

Ejection du disque dur

1. Déverrouillez la serrure délicatement, tirez la serrure à ressort

pour ouvrir la porte.Le HDD sera éjecté automatiquement du IB- 168

2. Enlevez le disque dur délicatement du IB- 168.

Fonction Hot swap

Si votre contrôleur SATA utilise la fonction HOT swap, le disque dur

SATA peut être changé dans IB- sans arrêter le système. 168

Attention:

1. La température du disque dur peut atteindre plus de 50°C, cela

ne brûlera pas les doigts mais veuillez le toucher avec

précaution.

2. Un disque dur est un appareil vulnérable.

3. N’éjectez pas le disque dur pendant que le système fonctionne.

4. Tenez le disque dur par les bords, évitez de toucher les circuits

imprimés.

5. Notre SAV ne prend en charge uniquement les

disfonctionnement du fabriquant. Nous ne sommes pas

responsables d'aucuns logiciels, matériels ou de données

conservées ou installées à l’intérieur de notre produit.

Tirar de la ventanilla para extraer el disco duro.

Instalacion

1. Colocar el IB-168 dentro de una bahia de 5.25’’ con los 4

tornillos.

2. Conectar el cable de corriente (15 polos) y el cable SATA de

datos al panel posterior. .

3. Tire de la manija par abrir la ventanila

4. Coloque el disco duro SATA dentro del IB- con la etiqueta 168

impresa hacia arriba

 De no colocar el disco duro en la direccion correcta la ventanilla

no se cerrara hermeticamente. El uso de la fuerza para cerra la

ventanilla puede dañar la partila.

5. Oprima la ventanilla hasta que cierre el pestillo. Cerrando la

cerradura con llave el disco quedara instalado.

Extraccion del disco duro

1. Abra la cerradura con la llave y tire lentamente de la manija. La

ventanilla se abrira y el disco saldra automaticamente.

2. Extraiga el disco duro con cui dado.

Hot swap (Cambio en caliente)

Si su controlador SATA soporta el cambio en caliente, usted podra

extraer el disco duro del IB- y colocar uno nuevo sin necesidad 168

de apagar el ordenador.

Atencion:

1. El disco duro puede calentarse hasta mas de 50°C. Eso no le

quemara los dedos pero por favor tenga cuidado al tocarlo.

2. El disco duro es un dispositivo muy sensible y exige una

manipulacion cuidadosa.

3. No extraiga el disco duro mientras esta trabajando.

4. Sostenga el disco duro por los bordes. No toque nunca la placa

de circuitos

5. Solo prestamos servicios de reparacion debidos a defectos de

nuestro producto. No asumiremos responsabilidad por daños

causados por software, hardware o por perdida de datos

Premere la leva per estrarre il disco rigido.

Installazione

1. Montare l’IB 168 in un alloggiamento da 5.25’’ con 4 viti.-

2. Connettere il cavo di alimentazione SATA a 15 pin e il cavo dati

SATA al pannello posteriore.

3. Premere la leva per aprire lo sportello anteriore.

4. Inserire il disco rigido SATA nell’IB 168 con l’etichetta stampata -

del disco rivolta verso l’alto

 Il disco va inserito nella direzione giusta, altrimenti il pannello

frontale non si chiuderà correttamente. L’IB-168 sarà danneggiato

se viene chiuso con forza.

5. Premere lo sportello per spingere il disco rigido nell’IB-168 fino

alla chiusura dello sportello. Chiudere la serratura usando l’apposita

chiavetta. Il disco rigido è ora installato.
