IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Before using the sandwich maker check if the voltage indicated in this unit corresponds with
the convenience outlet (230 Va.c.).
3. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it should be
replaced before using.
4. Do not allow cord to touch hot surface of the unit. Loop cord loosely after use.
5. Do not place on or near gas stove, electric burner or in a heated oven.
6. Avoid touching the none-stick plate while cooking is in progress.
7. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the unit in water.
8. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
9. Do not use the sandwich maker other than intended use.
10. Maintenance other than cleaning should be performed by a qualified technician from an
Authorized Imarflex Service Center.
HINTS FOR BEST RESULTS
1. Always pre-heat the unit before using.
2. For soft or liquid sandwich filling use medium, light or dark sliced bread.
3. Flavored butters may also be used.
4. For added flavor use bacon drippings, brush drippings on top portion of the bread.
5. Sprinkled sugar on top of the bread makes the toasted sandwich crispier (especially with fruit
fillings).
HOW TO MAKE TOASTED SANDWICHES AND SNACKS
1. For initial use wipe the non-stick plate of the sandwich maker with damp cloth. For best result,
wipe the non-stick plates with oil it can add aroma to the bread.
2. Plug into the convenience outlet. The red light will turn ON.
3. Close the sandwich maker and prepare sandwich while unit is heating.
4. When the sandwich maker is ready the green light will turn ON.
5. Fully open the sandwich maker, place half of the bread at the bottom side. Put the desired
sandwich filling.
6. Lay the top slice of the bread and close the lid.
7. The green light will turn ON when cooking is done.
8. Close the lid while the thermostat keeps the sandwich maker at the right temperature until
ready to cook.
9. Unplug when finished.
