IMPORTANT SAFEGUARD:
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Do not use the Pressure Cooker next to devices, which react sensitively to magnet (e.g.
radios, TV, cassette recorders, etc.).
3. Keep curtains, furniture, flammable materials, etc. away from the Pressure Cooker and
from the convenience outlet where the Pressure Cooker is plugged.
4. Before using the Pressure Cooker, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with the
convenience outlet (230Va.c.)
5. Do not use any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it should
be replaced with the same type and size or bring the Pressure Cooker to the nearest
Authorized Service Center.
6. Do not use two-way socket with other appliance.
7. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by
person responsible for their safety.
8. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or touch hot surface.
9. Do not cover the pressure valves. An explosion may occur.
10. Do not use it without the removable cooking pot.
11. Do not ll the pressure cooker more than ½ full with food or 2/3 full with liquid.
12. When cooking food that expands during cooking do not ll the unit over ½ full.
13. When cooking food under pressure, at least 1 ½ cup (12 oz.) of liquid must be used.
14. For household use only, not intended for any business purposes.
15. Save this manual for future reference.

DESCRIPTION OF PARTS:
CONTROL PANEL

FUNCTIONS:
Pressure/Steam In down position when cooking under
Regulator Knob: pressure, in up position when steaming.
Sliding Lock: Allows you to lock the lid of the pressure cooker.
Removable Cooking Pot: 5.25 qt capacity non-stick removable pot
provides even heat distribution.
Rubber Gasket: Creates an air tight seal that is needed for the
pressure cooker to operate.
Safety Valve: Allows excess pressure to escape if too much
pressure is building up.
Control Panel Functions: Warm function reheat or keep the cooked food
warm for a long period of time
Brown function allows you to brown your food
before cooking it under pressure
Steam function quickly brings cooking liquid to boil
for steaming food or cooking rice
Slow Cook function cooks your food slowly to retain
avor and tenderness (12-hour timer). Note: 180°F
is the lowest settings on a traditional slow cooker.
Most recipes using a slow cooker require 8-9 hours.
Delay Time feature allows you to begin cooking
food up to 8 hours later.
Setting Pressure allows you to choose 3 dierent
pressure settings: 2.5 psi (low); 7.5 psi (medium); 15
psi (high).
HOW TO USE:
For initial use
1. Remove all packing materials and literature.
2. Swivel the insert pot till the tabs are clear of the clip plates.
Lift the pot up carefully for cleaning. Place pot back
in the unit by reversing.
3. Wash all removable parts in warm soapy water.
Rinse and dry all parts thoroughly. Wipe the outer
housing in water or any other liquid. Never clean
any parts in a dishwasher.

4. Make sure the rubber gasket is properly placed.
5. Inside the lid. To ensure the correct tting,ll the removable
cooking pot with two-thirds water and run on high pressure (15 psi) for about 45-50
minutes.
6. Release the pressure by turning the pressure regulator knob to steam. The oating
valve will drop.
7. Let the appliance cool to room temperature and then empty and clean.
Note: Before using the pressure cooker each time, make sure that the rubber gasket and the
pressure regulator valve are clean and positioned properly.
1. Plug the unit into a convenient outlet. The display will
show : . -- --
2. Position the removable cooking pot in the unit.
Swivel the pot so the tabs are under the clip plate to
stop the pot from upward movement.
3. Place the food in the cooking pot according to the
recipe or chart.
Note: When cooking most foods under pressure, 1 ½ cups
(12oz) of liquid should be added.
4. Place the lid on the pressure cooker and slide the
locking lever to the left to lock .
5. Turn the pressure regulator knob to pressure.
6. Press the “Setting Pressure” button. The
LED above the 15 psi (high pressure)
indication will illuminate.
7. Select the desired pressure setting by pressing “+” or “ button to 7.5 psi (medium -
pressure) or 2.5 psi (low pressure), the relevant LED indication will illuminate. Press
the “Setting Pressure” button.
8. After the pressure is set, the cooking time will ash 10 on the display. Press the “+”
or “ “button to set the desired cooking time.-
9. Press the “Start/Stop” button to begin cooking.
10. While the unit is building up pressure, the horizontal signal will move and - -
illuminate. The countdown will begin after the pressure has been reached. It may
take several minutes to begin counting down.
This depends on the fullness of the pot. When the pressure level is reached, only
the cooking time will be displayed and the timer will start to count down.
11. When cooking is done, you will hear a beep sound. Let the pressure drop on its own
(also called the natural release method), or release immediately by turning the
pressure regulator knob towards steam in short bursts (also called the quick release
method) until the pressure is reduced.
