Read and follow the warning and instructions in this manual carefully before using the appliance:
1. Check if the power supply matches the specifications mentioned before operation.
2. This product is intended for household use only. It is not intended for commercial or industrial use.
3. Ensure the product is placed on a flat stable, dry heat-resistant surface when in operation.
4. Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with warm parts of the appliance or any other hot
surface.
5. The use of power cord extension with this appliance is not recommended.
6. To disconnect from the electricity supply, unplug and pull the plug from the wall outlet socket.
Never pull on the cord.
7. Do not operate the product if the power cord, plug or product is damaged or if the product has
been dropped or has malfunctioned.
8. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid hazard.
9. Do not attempt to repair or dismantle the unit. Please kindly send to Khind service centre, its service
agent or similarly qualified technician. Do not place the product on or near a heated cooker or a hot
gas or electric burner.
10. Do not operate the appliance under a wall cupboard, shelves or other overhanging objects or near
flammable materials such as blinds, curtains or wall hangings.
11. Do not operate the appliance in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes such as petrol
or kerosene.
12. Do not use any other accessories or attachments not recommended by the manufacturer with the
product.
13. Do not leave the appliance operating without supervision.
14. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
15. This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
16. Do not operate this appliance in humid or high temperature environment.
17. The heating plate’s surface is subject to residual heat after use. Do not touch the surface and any hot
parts of the appliance during use or immediately after use. It will be very hot!
18. Do not cover steam vent of the appliance’s lid when using the appliance.
19. Keep your face and hands away from the steam when opening the lid during cooking or after
cooking, to prevent being scalded. Hot steam emitted from the vent may scald your face or hands.
20. Do not take the food by hand directly until the appliance cools down, to prevent being scalded.
Always use a mitt or clamp due to high temperature steam, food or soup.
21. Do not operate the appliance without the steamer compartments in place or with steamer
compartments but other food in it or without filling water into main water tank.
22. Do not fill water less than the “MIN” or exceed the “MAX” water level marking on the main water tank.
23. WARNING! Avoid spillage on the power connector.
