• Whenbatteriesarelow,thedisplayshows“Lo”,pleaseinstallfreshbatteries.

OPERATION:

1. Placethescaleonalevelsurface.

2. Pressthe“On/O”button,thedisplayshows“HELLO”andthen“0g”.

3. Placeyouringredientsontheweighingplatform,theweightisshownon

thedisplay.

TARE FUNCTION:

1. Placeacontaineronthescale,itsweightisshownonthedisplay.

2. Pressthe“Tare”button,thedisplayshow“0g”.Nowaddyouringredients

intothecontainer,theweightisshownonthescreendisplay.

MEASUREMENT UNITS:

Slidetheselectoratthebottomofthescaletotherespectiveunit(g/lb)to

changefrom“grams”to“ounces”.

OVERLOAD INDICATOR:

Iftheweightofyouringredientsexceed5kgor11lbs,thenthescaleis

overloaded“Err”isdisplayed.

REPLACE BATTERIES:

• ThisapplianceusesonlylithiumbuttoncellsCR2032.

• Cleanthebatterycontactsandthecontactsinthebatterycompartment

priortothebatteryinstallation.

• Removethebatteriesfromthecompartmentifthekitchenscaleisnot

goingtobeusedforalongerperiodoftime.

• Leakingbatteriesmustbereplacedimmediately.

• Removeusedbatterieswithcare.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE:

• Foraccurateresultsplacethescaleonaatandlevelsurface.

• Cleanthescalewithadampcloth.Donotsubmergethescaleinwaterand

donotallowwaterorotherliquidstoenterthescale.

• Donotusechemicalstocleanthescale.

• Donotplacethescaleclosetoelectricappliances,asradiationmayaect

theperformanceofthescale.

• Donotplaceorstorethescalenearheatsourcesorinadampenvironment.

• Donotexposethescaletoextremeheat.

• Donotattempttoweighobjectsoringredientsheavierthan5kg/11lbs.
