The Kramer PT- 2H HDMI Extender
Thanks for purchasing your Kramer PT-2H, an HDMI
EXTENDER, which is ideal for multi media and home -
cinema applications. It is a user friendly, easy to -
install, small matchbox sized box that extends the -
HDMI transmission length by regenerating the HDMI
signal before it sends the output to the HDMI display
or projector. It lets you extend the HDMI cable
distance between the HDMI player and HDMI TV set.
By placing your near the display, it removes the digital noise (sparkles) in your picture PT-2H
that may result from using a long HDMI cable. In addition, the PT- 2H:
• Provides a longer HDMI extension. The -PT 2H can extend the maximum cable length to
up to 30 meters (98 feet)
• Maintains an HDMI single link video resolution of 1080p
• Supports the DDWG standard for HDMI compliant displays
• Is HDCP Compliant
If a DVI device does not seem to function, verify that the device is HDCP compliant. A
non encoded.-HDCP compliant DVI device will not work with a signal that is HDCP

The PT-2H input is connected via a long
male- -to male HDMI cable (not provided) to
an HDMI source, such as a DVD player or a
satellite set top box.
The PT-2H output is connected via a second
male- -to male HDMI cable (not provided) to an HDMI
acceptor, such as a projector or plasma.
