MANTENIMIENTO

Para reducir el riesgo de choque eléctrico e incendio, por favor obedezca las siguientes instrucciones:

- Desenchufe siempre la batería o desenchufe el adaptador de CA antes de mover, reparar o limpiar.

- NUNCA coloque el Ventilador dentro o cerca de agua.

- Limpie el Ventilador únicamente con una aspiradora equipada con un accesorio de cepillo; la aspiradora

quitará el polvillo y los desperdicios del interior del Ventilador.

- NUNCA intente desarmar el Ventilador.

- Limpie el cuerpo del Ventilador únicamente con un trapo suave.

- NUNCA use ALCOHOL o SOLVENTES tales como gasolina, bencina, disolvente para pinturas u otros

limpiadores duros.

CONSEJOS PARA LA SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS

• Este producto fue diseñado para funcionar con la batería RB-BP de 18V de Lasko o la fuente de alimentación de 20V AC/DC de Lasko

proporcionada con la unidad. No intente utilizarlo con ninguna otra batería o fuente de alimentación.

• Si la unidad se apaga de forma inesperada o no funciona, es posible que la batería se haya quedado sin carga. Utilice el indicador de

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, these instructions and warnings should always be

followed to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock and injury to persons:

CAUTION

• Use this product only with specified Lasko RB-BP 18V Lithium Ion Battery Pack. Use of other battery packs may create a risk of fire, shock, or injury.

• Recharge Battery Pack only with specified Lasko RB-CH Battery Pack Charger. Use of other Battery Pack charger may create a risk of fire.

• AC Adapter rated for indoor use only. Battery Pack is rated for both indoor and outdoor use.

• When Battery Pack is not in use, keep away from metals that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the Battery Pack

terminals together may cause burns or a fire.

• DO NOT crush, drop, or damage Battery Pack. Do not use a damaged Battery Pack, Charger, or Fan. A damaged Battery Pack may result in

electric shock, fires, or explosions. Properly dispose of the damaged Battery Pack immediately.

• attempt to disassemble Battery Pack. Handling these battery cells could result in electric shock or burns. DO NOT

• operate Fan or charge the Battery Pack near any heat sources.DO NOT

• charge Battery Pack in damp or wet locations.DO NOT

• Remove Battery Pack from Charger once it is fully charged.

• store Battery Pack, Charger, Adapter, or Fan outdoors or in damp or wet locations.DO NOT

• Use ONLY the provided Lasko AC Adapter. To replace a misplaced component, contact Lasko Customer Service for information on how to pur-

chase replacements (See Page 4).

• Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the Battery Pack; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid

contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the Battery Pack may cause irritation or burns.

• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not expose to water or rain.

• Risk of Fire and Burns. Do Not Open, Crush, Incinerate or Heat Battery Pack Above 50˚C (120˚F). Follow Instruction Manual.CAUTION:

• Discharge Battery Pack at a temperature between -20°C to 40°C (-4°F to 104°F).

• Charge Battery Pack at a temperature between 10°C - 40°C (50°F to 104°F).

STORAGE & MAINTENANCE:

• Store the Fan with these instructions, in the original carton in a cool, dry place.

• Store the Battery Pack indoors, away from moisture, and at a temperature between 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 120°F).

• If storing the Battery Pack for an extended period, store Battery Pack with 50% Charge (2 LEDs on Battery Power Indicator).

• Recharge Battery Pack to 50% charge every 6 months of storage without use.

• AVOID the use of extension cords, power strips, power taps, outlet style air fresheners or other cord connected devices, as these devices may overheat

and cause a fire hazard. use a single extension cord to operate more than one Fan or other electrical device.NEVER

• DO NOT route power cord under rugs, carpets, runners or furniture. This may damage the cord or cause it to overheat creating a fire hazard. Arrange cord

away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.

• ALWAYS place the Fan on a stable, flat, level surface while in operation to prevent the Fan from overturning.

• insert or allow fingers or objects to enter grill openings while Fan is in operation or injury and/or damage to the Fan may ocNEVER cur.

• block, cover or obstruct air flow to or from the Fan while in operation.DO NOT

• use this Fan near water or wet locations such as a bath tub, pool or hot tub. Use of this Fan in a wet location may create a shock hazard.DO NOT

• use this Fan if it has been damaged or is not functioning properly.DO NOT

• THIS FAN DOES NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF NEC ARTICLE 547-7 (2008). This Fan is not suitable for use in agricultural facilities including

areas where livestock, poultry or other animals are confined. Please refer to National Electric Code (NEC) Article 547-7 (2008), or applicable state or

local codes or standards relating to electrical requirements for agricultural buildings.
