GENERAL INFORMATION

• Only use accessories specied for this

model to prevent faults, short circuits or

electric shock.

• Do not attempt to remove parts of the hous-

ing (covers) yourself. Repairs must be done

at authorized service centers only.

• Protect the Leica LUX Grip from coming

in contact with insect sprays and other

aggressive chemicals. Petroleum spirit,

thinner and alcohol must not be used for

cleaning. Some chemicals and liquids can

damage the Leica LUX Grip housing or the

surface nish.

BATTERY

• Make sure that the power socket is freely

accessible at all times.

• Do not open the battery. Repairs must

only be carried out by authorized service

centers.

• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.

Batteries can cause suocation when

swallowed.

REGULATORY INFORMATION

You can nd your product’s production date on the

stickers in the Guarantee Card and on the packaging. The

digits stand for WWYY.

The symbols on this product (including the accessories)

LEICA CAMERA AG WARRANTY TERMS

Dear Leica customer,

Congratulations on the purchase of your new

Leica product. You have selected a world-fa-

mous brand name product. In addition to your

legal right to issue a claim against the seller

of your product, we, Leica Camera AG (“LEI-

CA”), grant you voluntary warranty services

for your Leica product in accordance with

the following provisions (“Leica Warranty”).

The Leica Warranty does not limit your legal

rights as a consumer under the applicable

law or your rights as a consumer against the

dealer with whom you concluded the purchase

contract.

THE LEICA WARRANTY

You have purchased a Leica product that

has been manufactured according to specic

quality guidelines and tested by experienced

specialists at each stage of production. We

grant the following Leica warranty for this

Leica product, including the accessories con-

tained in the original packaging. The warranty

is valid as of April 1, 2023. Please note that we

do not provide a warranty for commercial use

of our product.

SCOPE OF THE LEICA WARRANTY

During the warranty period, claims issued

on the basis of manufacturing and material

defects will be rectied free of charge, at

LEICA's discretion, by repair, replacement

of defective parts or exchange for a similar,

defect-free Leica product. Replaced parts

or products become the property of LEICA.

Further claims of any kind and based on any

legal grounds in connection with this Leica

warranty are excluded.

EXCLUDED FROM THE LEICA WARRANTY

The Leica warranty covers neither wear parts

and batteries nor mechanically stressed parts,

unless the defect was caused by manufactur-

ing or material defects. This also applies to

surface damage.

VOIDANCE OF CLAIMS UNDER THE LEICA

WARRANT Y

Warranty claims are void if the defect in

question is due to improper handling; they

may also be void if, for example, third-party

accessories have been used, the Leica product

has not been opened properly or has not been

repaired properly. Warranty claims are also

void if the serial number is not legible.

ASSERTION OF THE LEICA WARRANTY

To make a warranty claim, we require a copy

of the proof of purchase you received for your

Leica product from a dealer authorized by

LEICA (“Authorized Leica Dealer”). The proof

of purchase must include the date of purchase,

the Leica product with item number and serial

number and information about the Authorized

Leica Dealer. We reserve the right to ask you

to submit the original receipt. Send your Leica

product together with a copy of the proof of

purchase and a description of the complaint.
