1. Before connecting the iron make sure that the voltage indicated on the
iron is suitable for your home.
2. Do not use the iron for anything other than its intended use.
3. To protect against a burn or injury, do not iron or steam any clothes that
are being worn.
4. The iron should always be switched off before plugging or unplugging
from the outlet. Never pull the cord to disconnect from the outlet.
5. Do not allow the cord to touch a hot surface. Allow the iron to cool
completely before storing.
6. The iron must only be used with the provided power base.
7. Always disconnect the iron from the electrical outlet for filling or
emptying water or when not in use.
8. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not operate the iron with a
damaged cord or if the iron has been dropped or damaged. For repair,
contact customer service.
9. Close supervision is necessary if this appliance is used near children. Do
not leave the iron unattended while connected or on an ironing board.
10. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
11. Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water, or steam. Hot
water may leak from the iron. Use caution when filling or turning the steam
iron upside down.
