STEP 1 -- MATCH & CONNECT WIRES

IMPORTANT

Before starting, compare items on your invoice with items

received. Thoroughly check packing materials. If an item

is missing, please call Crutchfield at 1-888-955-6000.

Match wires below to the matching function of each wire on your receiver (refer to instructions supplied with receiver). The wire colors of your new

receiver may, or may not, match the wire colors of the adaptor. Match adaptor and receiver wires by function, disregarding color.

Individually tape off any unused wires.

See specific connections on pages 2 and 3 for the Amplifier Turn-On or Remote wire in Subaru vehicles with Harman Kardon.

Make final wiring connections following instructions on page 4.

Orange - Illumination

Yellow - 12 Volts Constant Power

White - Left Front Signal Input

Blue/White - Amplifier Turn-On

Violet - Right Rear Signal Input

Green - Left Rear Signal Input

Gray - Right Front Signal Input

Black - Chassis Ground

Connect to RCA outputs on receiver

Red - 12 Volts Switched Power

Connect to RCA outputs on receiver

Subaru Vehicles: The Blue/White wire matches up with the factory antenna booster in your

vehcle. Connect your receiver's power antenna wire or amp turn-on wire to this wire. Also,

splice the receiver's amp turn-on wire to the wire in the factory harness shown on page 2

or 3 based on the model vehicle you have.

Nissan Vehicles:

Connect the Ground Wire from the receiver to the vehicle chassis.

One of the screws or bolts securing the receiver assembly to the

dash is a good location.

2015 Subaru WRX with Harman Kardon and without navigation only:

Must splice the Amplifier Remote wire from the new receiver to the Pink wire

in pin 5 of the 16-pin factory harness at the radio.

Must splice the Amplifier Remote wire from the new receiver to the Light Blue Wire

in pin 5 of the 16-pin factory harness at the radio.
