All accessories, switches, climate

controls panels, and especially air bag indicator

lights must be connected before cycling the

ignition. Also, do not remove the factory radio

with the key in the on position, or while the

vehicle is running.

DASH DISASSEMBLY KIT PREPARATION

1. Remove the storage mat in the pocket

above the climate-control/radio trim

panel, and then remove (2) 9/32”

screws exposed.

2. Unclip and remove the pocket, and then

remove (2) 9/32” screws exposed.

3. Unclip, unplug, and remove the climate-

control/radio trim panel.

Continue to Kit Preparation

From the factory climate-control/radio

trim panel:

Remove (4) Torx screws securing the climate

control panel and remove.

Unclip and remove the switches.

Unclip and remove the LINE IN jack.

Unclip and remove the power port assembly.

To the 99-5850CH climate-control/radio

trim panel:

Secure the climate control panel to the panel

using the (4) #6 x 3/8” Phillips screws provided.

Secure the

switch trim panel

to the panel

using the (4) #8 x 3/8”

Phillips pan-head

screws

provided.

Snap the factory switches into the switch panel.

Snap the LINE IN jack to the panel.

Snap the power port assembly to the panel.

10.

Attach the (6)

panel clips

to the panel.
