PLACEMENT
SEE ILLUSTRATION II
Insert the round feet (12) in the slot to provide balance and add stability when placing
the Blue BEAT on any kind of surface.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
1. Plug the USB cable (9) into the USB charging socket (7) of the Blue BEAT.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable (9) into your computer or USB charger.
3. The red LED indicator (2) on the Blue BEAT will light up and your Blue BEAT will
start charging.
! Red LED indicator (2) turns off when battery is fully charged!
4. The Blue BEAT’s battery offers up to 10 hours music time.
5. When battery is running low, red LED indicator (2) will start to flash. Music time
may vary from usage (volume).

TURNING BLUE BEAT ON / OFF
To turn the Blue BEAT ON:
Slide the Power Switch (1) to the ‘ON’ position. The blue LED indicator (2) will start
flashing and you will hear a melody indicating that the Blue BEAT is entering pairing
mode and is starting to search for available Bluetooth® devices.
To turn the Blue BEAT OFF:
Slide the Power Switch (1) to the ‘OFF’ position. The Blue LED indicator (2) will turn off
indicating that the Blue BEAT is now turned off.
PAIRING THE BLUE BEAT WITH A BLUETOOTH® MUSIC DEVICE
You are required to pair the Blue BEAT with your Bluetooth® music device (*) once
before using it.
Slide the Power Switch (1) to the ‘ON’ position.
The blue LED indicator (2) will start flashing and you will hear a melody indicating
that the Blue BEAT is entering pairing mode and is starting to search for available
Bluetooth® devices. The Blue BEAT is now ready for pairing.
Let your Bluetooth® music device search for other Bluetooth® devices (please refer to
the manual of your Bluetooth® music device for more information).
Select the Blue BEAT out of the list with found devices on your Bluetooth® music device
and enter PIN code 0000 to pair both devices (**). You will hear a short beep.
The blue LED indicator (2) will flash every 4 seconds.
Once the Blue BEAT is successfully paired, you can use it to listen to your favorite music
wirelessly in stereo.
(*) Bluetooth® music devices are all Bluetooth® stereo music devices that support
Bluetooth® A2DP profile (e.g. iPhone™, iPad®, music phones, laptops, Android®
phones & tablets, …) .
(**) PIN code is not always required.
Note!
The Blue BEAT will automatically reconnect to the last connected device when the Blue
BEAT is turned ON again.
In case your Bluetooth® music device does NOT reconnect automatically with the Blue
BEAT you can:
• Reconnect manually with your Bluetooth® music device (please refer to the manual
of your Bluetooth® music device for more information).
• Reconnect manually by pressing MODE button once on the Blue BEAT.

To make a call
Dial a number with your phone. The call is automatically transferred to the Blue BEAT.
CONNECTING THE BLUE BEAT WITH A NON-BLUETOOTH® MUSIC DEVICE
You can also play music from a NON-Bluetooth® music device on the Blue BEAT by
using the 3.5 mm jack cable (10). Plug the jack cable (10) into the audio socket (8) of
the Blue BEAT. Plug the other end of the jack cable (10) into the audio socket of your
music device.
Note!
When playing music from a device connected to the Blue BEAT using the jack cable (10),
all music functions (play/pause/FWD/BWD/VOL+/VOL-) need to be operated from the
music device, NOT from the Blue BEAT’s music buttons (3-4-5).
Due to many slight differences in music devices and phones, above mentioned
operations may vary!

PLAATSING
ZIE ILLUSTRATIE II
Steek het ronde voetje (12) in de gleuf voor meer evenwicht en stabiliteit zodat de
Blue BEAT geplaatst kan worden op om het even welk oppervlak.
DE BATTERIJ LADEN
1. Verbind de USB kabel (9) met de USB-laadpoort (7) van de Blue BEAT.
2. Verbind het andere einde van de USB kabel (9) met uw computer of USB lader.
3. Het rode LED indicatielampje (2) van de Blue BEAT zal beginnen oplichten en uw
Blue BEAT zal beginnen laden.
! Het rode LED indicatielampje (2) gaat uit als de batterij volledig opgeladen is!
4. De batterij van de Blue BEAT biedt tot 10 uren muziektijd.
5. Als de batterijcapaciteit laag is, zal het rode LED indicatielampje (2) beginnen te
knipperen. Muziektijd varieert naar gelang gebruik (volume).

DE BLUE BEAT AAN / UIT SCHAKELEN
Schakel de Blue BEAT AAN:
Verschuif de AAN/UIT schakelaar(1) naar de stand ‘ON’. Het blauwe LED
indicatielampje (2) zal beginnen knipperen en u zal een melodie horen die aangeeft
dat de Blue BEAT klaar is om te pairen en zal beginnen zoeken naar beschikbare
Bluetooth® apparaten.
Schakel de Blue BEAT UIT:
Verschuif de schakelaar (1) naar de stand ‘OFF’. Het blauwe LED indicatielampje (2)
zal uitgaan hetgeen aangeeft dat de Blue BEAT uitgeschakeld werd.
DE BLUE BEAT PAIREN MET EEN BLUETOOTH® MUZIEKAPPARAAT
U dient de Blue BEAT éénmalig met uw Bluetooth® muziekapparaat (*) te pairen
voor gebruik.
Verschuif de AAN/UIT schakelaar (1) naar de stand ‘ON’.
Het blauwe LED indicatielampje (2) zal beginnen knipperen en u zal een melodie
horen die aangeeft dat de Blue BEAT klaar is om te pairen en zal beginnen zoeken
naar beschikbare Bluetooth® apparaten.
Laat uw Bluetooth® muziekapparaat zoeken naar andere Bluetooth® apparaten
(gelieve hiervoor de handleiding van uw Bluetooth® muziekapparaat te raadplegen
voor meer informatie).
Selecteer de Blue BEAT uit de lijst gevonden apparaten van uw Bluetooth®
muziekapparaat en geef de PIN code 0000 (**) in om te pairen met beide apparaten.
U zal een korte beep horen.
Het blauwe LED indicatielampje (2) zal om de 4 seconden oplichten. Zodra de Blue
BEAT succesvol gepaird werd, kunt u in stereo en draadloos luisteren naar uw
favoriete muziek.
(*) Bluetooth® muziekapparaat verwijst naar alle Bluetooth® stereo
muziekapparaten die het Bluetooth® A2DP profile ondersteunen (Bv. iPhone™,
iPad®, muziektelefoons, laptops, Android® telefoons & tablets, …)
(**) PIN code is niet altijd vereist.
Nota!
De Blue BEAT zal automatisch herverbinden met het laatst verbonden apparaat
zodra u de Blue BEAT aanschakelt. Indien uw Bluetooth® muziekapparaat NIET
automatisch herverbindt met de Blue BEAT, kunt u:

muziekapparaat (gelieve hiervoor de
handleiding van uw Bluetooth

muziekapparaat te raadplegen voor meer informatie.
• Manueel herverbinden met uw Bluetooth® muziekapparaat door éénmalig op de
MODE toets te drukken.
HANDSFREE FUNCTIE
Om een oproep te beantwoorden/beëindigen/weigeren:
Druk snel op om een oproep te beantwoorden.
Druk snel op om een oproep te beëindigen.
Houd ingedrukt om een oproep te weigeren.
Om een oproep te maken:
Bel een nummer met uw mobiele telefoon. De oproep wordt automatisch
doorgeschakeld naar de Blue BEAT.
VERBIND DE BLUE BEAT MET EEN NIET-BLUETOOTH® MUZIEKAPPARAAT
U kunt op de Blue BEAT ook muziek afspelen van een NIET-Bluetooth®
muziekapparaat door gebruik te maken van de 3.5 mm jack kabel (10). Verbind de
jack kabel (10) met de audio aansluiting (8) van de Blue BEAT. Sluit het andere einde
van de jack kabel (10) aan op de audio-aansluiting van uw muziekapparaat.
Nota!
Zodra u muziek afspeelt vanaf een toestel dat met de Blue BEAT verbonden werd
via de jack kabel (10), zullen alle muziekfuncties (play/pauze/FWD/BWD/VOL+/
VOL-) bediend moeten worden vanaf het muziekapparaat en niet via de op de Blue
BEAT voorziene muziektoetsen (3-4-5).
Door kleine verschillen in muziekapparaten en muziektelefoons kunnen
bovenstaande functies/handelingen lichtjes verschillen!
