BEFORE ATTACHING, INSPECTING OR SERVICING THE TCM
WARNING: IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT SAFETY MEASURES BE EMPLOYED
AT ALL TIMES WHILE HANDLING A FIREARM.
y Engage the safety on the rearm (if applicable).
y Remove the magazine from the rearm (if applicable).
y Open the action and visually and physically inspect the chamber to be
sure it is empty.
y Keep the barrel pointed in a safe direction at all times and never place
your hand in front of the muzzle.
GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS
y NOT FOR USE ABOVE HAZARDOUS LOCATIONS
y DO NOT use in explosive atmospheres, near ammable liquids, or where
explosion proof lamps are required.
y DO NOT use in the proximity of vehicles or equipment when there is a
risk of ammable liquids coming into contact with the ashlight.
y DO NOT expose the batteries to water or salt water, or allow the
batteries to get wet.
y DO NOT store the batteries with metallic objects that may cause a short
circuit.
y Immediately discontinue use of the batteries if they emit an unusual
smell, feel hot, change color, change shape or appear abnormal in any way.
y Keep out of the reach of children.
INSTALL THE BATTERY
SAFETY WARNING: ALWAYS ENSURE HANDGUN IS SAFE AND UNLOADED
BEFORE CHANGING THE BATTERY.
y Unscrew and remove the bezel.
y Insert the included CR123A battery with the positive(+) end rst.
y Replace the bezel and turn until fully seated.
SAFE MODE: The light will not operate while in safe mode. The safe mode
reverts to disabled when batteries are removed or fully discharged. See
programming section to setup battery safe mode.
CHARGING THE NS1-BATT: Remove the battery from the light and use the
USB-C cord to charge. The indicator light on the battery will turn from red to
green when fully charged.
INSTALL THE LIGHT ONTO YOUR FIREARM
The rearm must have a tactical rail and at least one cross rail slot. The TCM
is not designed to be used on a rearm that does not have a cross rail slot.
NOTE: The TCM comes pre-congured with the C1 modular insert. If the
t is not correct for your specic handgun model, switch to the C2, C3,
C4 or C5 insert that works best for your rearm. Correct key installation is
veried by the light positioned close to the trigger guard with only a slight
visible gap. Minimal gap ensure proper t with most holsters.
y Push inward on the rail clamp tension thumbscrew to fully open the
adjustable portion of the rail clamp.
y Align the insert tab with the appropriate slot on the tactical rail of your
handgun. Rotate the rail clamp of the TCM onto your handgun’s rail so that the
insert is fully seated in the slot.
y While making sure that the insert remains fully seated in the slot, tighten
the rail clamp tension thumbscrew by hand.
y Use a coin to fully tighten the tension thumbscrew.
IMPORTANT: Periodically check to insure that the Allen screws and rail
clamp tension thumbscrew remain tight.
PROGRAM THE USER-SELECTABLE SETTINGS
To program the strobe or battery safe mode, both switches are pressed at
the same time. Light can be on or off.
Strobe and battery safe mode are disabled when product arrives from the
factory.
STROBE MODE
y Press both switches down quickly 5 times (less than 1 second between
presses) to enable or disable strobe mode.
y After ve presses, the light will ash on and off 2 times to conrm a
change in the strobe mode.
NOTE: The user-selected strobe mode is retained in memory when batteries
are removed or fully discharged.
BATTERY SAFE MODE
y Press both switches down and hold for 3 seconds to enable or disable
battery safe mode.
y After three seconds the light will ash on and off 1 time to conrm a
change in the battery safe mode.
NOTE: The battery safe mode reverts to disabled when batteries are
removed or fully discharged.
OPERATION
The left and right side switches operate independently. Activation of either
switch will turn on the light.
y Turn on/off: Press down for .5 seconds or less and release.
y Momentary on: Press and hold for .5 seconds or longer. Release to
turn off.
y Enable low mode for increased runtime: Press and hold either switch,
then press the opposite switch 3 times within 1.5 seconds. Repeat process
to turn back to high. High mode is default when battery is changed.
y When strobe is enabled, press down either switch quickly 2 times and
hold on the second press to turn on strobe. (Less than .5 seconds between
presses.) Strobe remains on until switch is released.
STROBE WARNING
Exposure to strobing lights may cause dizziness, disorientation, and nausea.
A very small percentage of people suffer from photosensitive epilepsy and
may experience seizures or blackouts triggered by strobing lights. For more
information from the Epilepsy Foundation about photosensitivity and seizures,
please visit www.epilepsy.com. Anyone who has had symptoms
linked to this condition should consult a doctor before using this product.
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
BPI warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and
materials for the original purchaser’s lifetime. The Limited Lifetime Warranty
includes the LEDs, housing and lenses. Rechargeable batteries, chargers,
switches, electronics and included accessories are warranted for a period of two
years with proof of purchase. Normal wear and failures which are caused by
accidents, misuse, abuse, faulty installation and lightning damage are excluded.
We will repair or replace this product should we determine it to be
defective. This is the only warranty, expressed or implied, including any
warranty of merchantability or tness for a particular purpose.

WEAPON SAFETY
FAILURE TO FOLLOW SAFETY AND OPERATING MEASURES WHEN
HANDLING A FIREARM OR THE NIGHTSTICK TCM WHEN MOUNTED ON
A FIREARM IS DANGEROUS AND CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY,
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, OR DEATH.
y Use of a rearm under any circumstance is inherently dangerous.
SERIOUS INJURY OR EVEN DEATH may result without proper training
in the safe handling of rearms. Proper training should be obtained
from an accredited rearms safety program conducted by a qualied
instructor.
y Read, understand and follow all of the safety instructions that come
with your firearm before attaching your new TCM.
y Always assume every rearm is loaded and treat that rearm as such.
y Never point a rearm at anything that you are not willing to destroy.
y Never service your rearm or your TCM when mounted on a rearm
without rst activating the weapon’s safety (if applicable), removing the
magazine, opening the action and physically and visually inspecting to
make sure that no ammunition is installed in the rearm.
WEAPON MOUNTED LIGHT SAFETY
y Nightstick recommends that the TCM should only be activated with the non-
trigger hand (support hand) while employing a two-hand grip on the handgun
and with the trigger nger fully outside the trigger guard when applicable.
y Thoroughly practice (employing safe training conditions) with the TCM
and an unloaded handgun before using the weapon.
y Ne jamais réparer votre arme à feu ou votre lampe TCM lorsqu’elle

y Nightstick recommande que la lampe TCM soit uniquement activée

y Garder le canon de l’arme pointé dans une direction sûre en tout temps
et ne jamais placer votre main devant la bouche de l’arme.

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ GÉNÉRALES
y NE PAS UTILISER AU-DESSUS DES EMPLACEMENTS DANGEREUX.
y NE PAS utiliser dans une atmosphère explosive, près des liquides
inammables, ou lorsque des lampes antidéagrantes sont requises.
y NE PAS utiliser à proximité de véhicules ou équipements où il y a risque
de liquides inammables entrant en contact avec la lampe de poche.
y NE PAS exposer les piles dans l’eau ou l’eau salée, ou permettre aux
piles d’être mouillées.
y NE PAS entreposer les piles avec des objets métalliques qui risquent de
causer un court-circuit.
y Cesser immédiatement d’utiliser les piles si elles émettent une odeur
inhabituelle, sont chaudes, changent de couleur, de forme ou elles ont une
apparence anormale.

INSTALLATION DES PILES
AVERTISSEMENT DE SÉCURITÉ: ASSUREZ-VOUS TOUJOURS QUE
L’ARME EST SÉCURITAIRE ET DÉCHARGÉE AVANT DE CHANGER LA
BATTERIE.
y Dévissez et retirez le cache.
y Insérez la pile CR123A fournie avec le pôle positif (+) en premier.
y Replacez le cache et serrez-le jusqu’à ce qu’il soit complètement en
place.
MODE SÉCURISÉ : la lumière ne fonctionnera pas en mode sans échec.
Le mode sans échec redevient désactivé lorsque les piles sont retirées ou
complètement déchargées. Voir la section de programmation pour congurer le
mode sans échec de la batterie.
CHARGEMENT DE LA NS1-BATT : Retirez la batterie de la lampe et utilisez le
câble USB-C pour la recharger. Le voyant de la batterie passe du rouge au vert
une fois la charge terminée.
INSTALLATION DE LA LAMPE SUR L’ARME À FEU
La lampe TCM est conçue pour être facilement attachée et détachée du rail
tactique de l’arme à feu. Cependant, l’arme à feu doit avoir un rail tactique et
doit avoir au moins une fente de xation à rails. Le TCM n’est pas conçu pour
être utilisé sur une arme à feu qui ne détient pas de fente de xation à rails.
IMPORTANT: Votre TCM est préconguré avec l’insert modulaire C1.
