ACTIVATION

Press and release the button.

The display comes full on displaying all

segments then a countdown sequence,

then the Surface Main.

BUTTON:

• < 2s means quick press/release

• 2s means press/hold 2 seconds

• (1) 3 volt type CR2430 Lithium Battery, 560 mAhr

SHELF LIFE - up to 5 years

• Use Life -100 hdve hours if (1) 1 hour dive per day up to 300 dive hours if (3) 1 hour

dives per day

• Replace the Battery prior to dive trips and vacations when multiple days of diving

are planned.

• Calculations and settings retained during Battery replacement, if within 8 seconds.

• Dispose of battery according to local regulations that apply to Lithium cells.

EU (EUROPEAN UNION) DIRECTIVES

• The BUD is in compliance with the essential safety requirements of EU EMC

directive 89/336/EEC and PPE directive 89/686/EEC.

• EU standards comformity certied by SGS United Kingdom Ltd, Weston -

super - Mare, BS22 6WA, UK, Notied Body No. 0120.

• The BUD is designed to comply with EN13319:2000 Diving accessories - Depth

gauges and combined depth and time measurement devices - Functional and safety

requirements, test methods. Any information on decompression obligation displayed

by equipment covered by this standard is explicitly excluded from its scope.

• Max Operating Depth = 330 FT (100 M)

Depth Accuracy - +/- 1% full scale

• Time Accuracy - +/- 1 second per day

• Dive Mode - entered at 5 FT (1.5 M) for 5 seconds.

• Post dive Surface Mode after 10 minutes on surface following ascent to 2 FT (0.6

M) for 1 second.

• Repetitive Dive - after 10 minute post dive SI, FREE after 1 minute post dive SI.

• Altitude Adjustments (of Ni-O2 calculations & depth calibration) - begin at 3,001

feet (916 meters) elevation, continues up to max operating elevation of 14,000 feet

(4,270 meters).

• Operating Temperature (in air) - 20 to 140 F (- 6 to 60 C)

• Operating Temperature (in water) - 28 to 95 F (- 2 to 35 C)

MAINTENANCE

(refer to the Reference section of the Operating Manual)

• Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after activities in salt water.

• Annually >> take the BUD to an Authorized Oceanic Dealer for inspection.

• Replace the Battery prior to dive trips and vacations when multiples days of diving

are planned.
