PAOCLXLRM
AUDIO OVER CAT MULTICORE ADAPTER CABLE FROM ETHERCON TO 4 × XLR MALE
INTRODUCTION
This Palmer AoC product was developed to transmit audio signals reliably
over long distances without loss or hum via Cat cable. Up to four bal-
anced analogue channels or up to eight channels in digital AES3 format
can be transmitted. The compact and modular design is suitable for a
wide range of applications in the studio, on stage and in permanent instal-
lations. This product is suitable for use with phantom power. Preferably use
balanced cables for analogue signal transmission, as these are significant-
ly less susceptible to interference than unbalanced cables. Digital signal
transmission in AES3 format requires balanced cabling.
CONNECTIONS
Plug a shielded Cat cable (Cat5e or better) with etherCON connectors (or
compatible) into the etherCON socket and connect the other end of the
cable to another Palmer AoC Loom (e.g. PAOCLXLRF), a Palmer AoC Box or
another suitable Palmer device with an AoC interface (or other devices with
AES72 type 5E pin assignment).
There are four male 3-pin XLR connectors (channel 1 - 4) at the end of
the breakout cable. Connect these to the balanced inputs of an active
speaker, amplifier, mixing console, audio interface, etc. or to the AES3 inputs
of a digital audio device. Various devices can be used simultaneously.
INTENDED USE
This product is a device for event technology, as well as studio, TV and broadcast!
This product has been developed for professional use in the field of event technology,
studio, TV and broadcast. It is not suitable for household use!
Furthermore, this product is only intended for qualified users with specialist knowledge of
event technology, as well as studio, TV and broadcast!
Use of the product outside the specified technical data and operating conditions is
considered improper use!
Liability for damage and third-party damage to persons and property due to inappropriate
use is excluded!
The product is not suitable for:
- Persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of
experience and knowledge.
- Children (children must be instructed not to play with the product).

AUDIO OVER CAT MULTICORE-ADAPTERKABEL VON ETHERCON AUF 4 × XLR MALE
EINFÜHRUNG
Dieses Palmer AoC Produkt wurde entwickelt, um Audiosignale zuverlässig
über weite Strecken verlust- und brummfrei per Cat-Kabel zu übertragen.
Dabei können bis zu vier symmetrische Kanäle analog bzw. bis zu acht
Kanäle im digitalen AES3-Format übertragen werden. Das kompakte und
modulare Design eignet sich für eine Vielzahl von Anwendungen im Studio,
auf der Bühne und bei Festinstallationen. Dieses Produkt ist für die Ver-
wendung einer Phantomspeisung geeignet. Verwenden Sie bei analoger
Signalübertragung vorzugsweise symmetrische Kabel, da diese deutlich
weniger störanfällig sind als unsymmetrische Kabel. Digitale Signalübertra-
gung im AES3-Format erfordert symmetrische Verkabelung.
ANSCHLÜSSE
Stecken Sie ein abgeschirmtes Cat-Kabel (Cat5e oder besser) mit ether-
CON-Steckern (oder kompatibel) in die etherCON-Buchse und verbinden
das andere Ende des Kabels mit einem weiteren Palmer AoC Loom
(z. B. PAOCLXLRF), einer Palmer AoC Box oder einem anderen geeigneten
Palmer-Gerät mit AoC-Schnittstelle (oder andere Geräte mit AES72 Typ 5E
Pinbelegung).
Am Ende der Kabelpeitsche befinden sich vier männliche 3-Pol XLR-Stecker
(Kanal 1 - 4). Verbinden Sie die Stecker mit den symmetrischen Eingängen
einer Aktivbox, eines Verstärkers, Mischpults, Audio-Interfaces usw. oder mit
den AES3-Anschlüssen eines digitalen Audiogeräts. Es können verschiedene
Geräte gleichzeitig verwendet werden.

Bei dem Produkt handelt es sich um ein Gerät für die Veranstaltungstechnik, sowie Studio,
TV und Broadcast!
Das Produkt ist für den professionellen Einsatz im Bereich der Veranstaltungstechnik, sowie
