Velcro

Strap

To attach the UltraPod 3

™

to a railing or other object, place the open “V” of the body, with the legs folded in, over the object and wrap the strap around the object,

through the D-ring, and then fold back across the D-ring to secure the Velcro. If object is very narrow, you may need to loop the Velcro twice around the object before

folding strap back across D-ring to secure the Velcro. Make sure the UltraPod 3

™

is attached securely to the object before using your camera. Always be sure that the

object that you are attaching to is strong enough to support the weight of the camera and the UltraPod 3

™

. When the strap is not being used it can be wrapped

around the UltraPod 3

™

, or to remove it, fold the legs out and pull the strap through from the inside. You can roll the strap up and store in your camera bag when not

in use.

Courroie Velcro

Pour attacher l’UltraPod 3

Cautions

Due to its size, UltraPod 3

™

may not be suitable for objects over 10 lbs. or cameras using telephoto lenses. It requires no special care, except do not spray with WD-40

or other aerosol products, as these contain solvents that can “craze” and weaken this material. When attaching cameras with telephoto lenses or camcorders you must

position camera so that its weight is centered over the three legs to prevent the tripod from tipping over.
