2. Safety Instructions
● Read and understand this manual and all safety signs
before using this appliance. Class 2 appliance. This ● ●
device can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
the use of the device in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children shall not play with the device.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision. ● There are no user-
serviceable parts inside the device. Refer to an authorized
dealer for service and/or spare parts. Do not immerge ●
the device in any liquid. Keep the main unit away from high
heat and fire. Do not connect any appliance with a load ●
exceeding 16 A. Heaters and similar appliances should ●
never be left unattended during operation. It is
recommended not to connect such appliances to timers.
● Warning: This device contains an internal rechargeable
battery. When the device reaches end- -life, it must be of
disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
3. General Guidelines
● Refer to the Velleman® Service and Quality Warranty on
www.velleman.eu Protect this device from shocks and . ●
abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device.
● Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device
before actually using it. ● All modifications of the device
are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user
modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.
● Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the
device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.
● Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this
manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer will
not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or
problems. Keep this manual for future reference. ●
4. Operation
Initial Setting
● Connect the timer to the mains and switch on. Leave for
10 minutes to charge the internal backup battery. Use a ●
sharp object (e.g. a pen, pencil) to press R and clear all
current information. The timer is now ready for setting. ●
Time Setting
● Press and hold C+, and press W until the actual day is +
displayed. Continue by pressing H or M until the ●+ +
current hour or minute is displayed. Release both ●
buttons to complete the setup.
Programme Setting
Note: Make sure your programmes do not overlap. If
programme setting overlap, the timer switch-on or switch-
off will be executed according to the programme time, not
by programme number. The switch-off mode has priority
over the switch-on mode.
● Press and release. The first switch-on programme
can be t. Press W to set the day or block of days. Set se +
the time with H and M+. Press again to finish the first +
switch-on programme and to enter the switch-off
programme. Set the switch-off programme accordingly. ●
Press to finish the switch-off programme and to enter
the second switch-on programme. Repeat to set the
remaining programmes. ● After programming, press C+ to
confirm.
Manual/Auto Mode
● Operating modes cannot be changed during programme
setting. Press MANUAL as necessary to display: ON (the ●
connected appliance remains switched on), OFF (the
connected appliance remains switched off) or AUTO (the
connected appliance follows the programmed time
settings). When the mode switches from ON to AUTO, ●
the timer keeps the ON settings until the next timer
programme is executed.
12/24h Mode
● Simultaneously press C and to switch between the +
12- and 24-hour display mode.
Summertime
● Simultaneously press C and MANUAL. The clock +
advances 1 hour and the timer displays S To revert to . ●
winter setting, simultaneously press the two buttons
again. The clock regresses 1 hour.
5. Maintenance
● Remove the appliance from the mains before cleaning.
● Occasionally wipe with a damp cloth to keep it looking
new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or
strong detergents.

1. Inleiding

Belangrijke milieu-informatie betreffende dit

Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan dat,
als het na zijn levenscyclus wordt
weggeworpen, dit toestel schade kan
toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel
(en eventuele batterijen) niet bij het gewone
huishoudelijke afval; het moet bij een
gespecialiseerd bedrijf terechtkomen voor
recyclage. U moet dit toestel naar uw verdeler of naar een
lokaal recyclagepunt brengen. Respecteer de plaatselijke
milieuwetgeving. Hebt u vragen, contacteer dan de
plaatselijke autoriteiten betreffende de
verwijdering.

2. Veiligheidsvoorschriften
● Lees en begrijp deze handleiding en de
veiligheidsinstructies vóór ingebruikname. ● Dit toestel
behoort tot klasse II. ● Dit toestel is geschikt voor gebruik
door kinderen vanaf 8 jaar, door personen met fysieke,
zintuiglijke of verstandelijke beperkingen, of door
personen met gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, op
voorwaarde dat dit onder toezicht gebeurt van een
persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid of hun
aanwijzingen heeft gegeven, hoe zij het toestel moeten
gebruiken en zich bewust zijn van de risico's die het
gebruik van het toestel met zich meebrengt. Kinderen
mogen niet met het toestel spelen. De reiniging en het
onderhoud van het toestel mogen niet worden uitgevoerd
door kinderen, tenzij ze onder toezicht staan. ● Er zijn
geen door de gebruiker vervangbare onderdelen in dit
toestel. Contacteer uw verdeler voor eventuele
reserveonderdelen. ● Dompel het toestel nooit onder in
een vloeistof. Stel het toestel niet bloot aan extreme
temperaturen of vuur. ● Sluit deze timer niet aan op een
toestel met een Laat belasting hoger dan 16 A. ●
verwarmingstoestellen en soortgelijke toestellen nooit
onbeheerd achter tijdens het gebruik. Sluit geen kachels
of soortgelijke toestellen aan op timers. ● Waarschuwing:
Dit toestel is uitgerust met een interne oplaadbare batterij.
Wanneer het toestel het einde van zijn levensduur heeft
bereikt, ontdoe u er dan van volgens de plaatselijke
regelgeving.
3. Algemene richtlijnen
Raadpleeg de Velleman® service- en kwaliteitsgarantie op
www.velleman.eu. ● Bescherm tegen schokken. Vermijd
brute kracht tijdens de bediening van het toestel. ● Leer
eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat
gebruiken. ● Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen
wijzigingen aanbrengen. Schade door wijzigingen die de
gebruiker heeft aangebracht aan het toestel valt niet onder
de garantie. ● Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het
gemaakt is. De garantie vervalt automatisch bij
ongeoorloofd gebruik. ● De garantie geldt niet voor schade
door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze
handleiding en uw verdeler zal de verantwoordelijkheid
afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks
verband mee houden. ● Bewaar deze handleiding voor
verdere raadpleging.
4. Gebruik
Ingebruikname
● Steek de stekker in het stopcontact en schakel het
toestel in. Laat het toestel gedurende 10 minuten
ingeschakeld om de interne reservebatterij op te laden.
● Gebruik een scherp voorwerp (bv. pen, potlood) om R in
te drukken en alle huidige informatie te wissen. ● Het
toestel is nu klaar om ingesteld te worden.
De tijd instellen
● Houd C+ ingedrukt en druk op W+ totdat de huidige dag
wordt weergegeven. ● Ga verder door op H of MIN te +
drukken totdat het huidige uur of de minuten worden
weergegeven. ● Laat beide knoppen los om de instelling te
voltooien.
De programma's instellen
Opmerking: Zorg ervoor dat de programma's elkaar niet
overlappen. Als programma-instellingen elkaar
overlappen, dan zal het aan-/uit-programma worden
uitgevoerd volgens de geprogrammeerde tijd, niet volgens
het programmanummer. Het uit-programma heeft
voorrang op het aan-programma.
● Druk op en laat los. Het eerste aan-programma kan
worden ingesteld. Druk op W om de dag of een aantal +
dagen in te stellen. Stel de tijd in door op H en MIN te +
drukken. Druk nogmaals op om de instelling van het
eerste aan-programma te voltooien en het uit-programma
te openen. ● Stel het uit-programma op dezelfde manier
in. Druk op om de instelling van het uit-programma te
voltooien en het tweede aan-programma te openen.
Herhaal deze stappen om de overige programma's in te
stellen. ● Na het voltooien van de instellingen, druk op C+
om te bevestigen.
Manuele/Auto modus
● Bedrijfsmodi kunnen niet gewijzigd worden tijdens de
programma-instelling. ● Druk op MANUAL om het
volgende weer te geven: ON (het aangesloten toestel blijft
ingeschakeld), OFF (het aangesloten toestel blijft
uitgeschakeld) of AUTO (het aangesloten toestel volgt de
