6WAARSCHUWING
Veiligheidsgevaar door onbedoeld gebruik:
• Gebruik het apparaat alleen zoals beschreven in
deze gebruiksaanwijzing.
• Door de veiligheidsinstructies te negeren, kan de
fabrikant niet verantwoordelijk worden gehouden
voor de schade.
• Gebruik het apparaat nooit als er zichtbare
tekenen van schade of gebreken zijn. Vervang
een beschadigd of defect apparaat altijd
onmiddellijk.
• Breng nooit aanpassingen aan het apparaat

Gevaar voor elektrische schokken door
kortsluiting:
• Gebruik het apparaat nooit als er zichtbare

Brandgevaar door oververhitting:
• Zet het apparaat altijd op een stabiele, vlakke,
hitte- en vochtbestendige ondergrond. Laat het

gebruik is. Gebruik het apparaat alleen onder
toezicht. Zet het apparaat uit en haal de
voedingskabel uit het stopcontact als je de
kamer verlaat.
• Gebruik het apparaat nooit met een
programmeerapparaat, timer, aparte
afstandsbediening of een ander toestel dat het
apparaat automatisch inschakelt.
• Plaats het apparaat nooit direct onder een
stopcontact. Het apparaat kan tijdens het
gebruik heet worden. Houd de achterkant van
het apparaat altijd vrij van voorwerpen.
• Om verstoring van de luchtstroom te voorkomen,
plaats niets bovenop het apparaat en zorg
ervoor dat er altijd 10 centimeter vrije ruimte
rondom het apparaat is.
• Zet het apparaat nooit in de buurt van een
warmtebron neer.
Gevaar voor elektrische schokken door

• Laat het apparaat nooit vallen en vermijd stoten.
Overmatige trillingen kunnen leiden tot
losgeraakte verbindingen en kunnen de goede

verpakkingsmateriaal altijd buiten het bereik van
kinderen.
Knelgevaar door bewegende delen:
• Schakel het apparaat altijd uit en haal de stekker
uit het stopcontact voordat je accessoires
verwisselt of onderdelen aanraakt die bewegen
tijdens het gebruik.
• Never use metal utensils to remove food from
the pan. Metal utensils may damage the non-
stick coating.
BEFORE FIRST USE
• Take the appliance and accessories out the box.
Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic
from the device.
• Place the device on a flat stable surface and
ensure a minimum of 10 cm. free space around
the device. This device is not suitable for
installation in a cabinet or for outside use.
• Turn the thermostat clockwise to the highest
setting and allow the device to heat up at least 5
minutes without food.
• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never
use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad
or steel wool, which damages the appliance.
• Allow all parts to dry completely or dry them with
a towel.
• For the best results, lightly coat the cooking
plates with a little cooking oil or cooking spray.
• Note: when the appliance is heated for the first
time, it may emit slight smoke or odor. This is
normal with many heating appliances. This does
not affect the safety of your appliance.
• Place the device in a well ventilated space.
USE
1. The thermostat has a multi-purpose light ring which blinks while the temperature is
adjusting (preheating) and fully lights up once the desired temperature is reached.
2 A. Open the appliance and grease both baking plates 3 with some oil or fat.
3. Place the prepared waffle dough on the lower baking tray.
4. Set the temperature control to the desired setting.
5. Cook for about 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown, adjusting the time to suit your
own taste.
Note: Do not use sharp objects to remove the waes in order to prevent damage to
the non stick coating.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Always unplug the power cable when the
appliance is not in use or unattended, and
before cleaning.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or other
liquids or place it in a dishwasher.
• Wipe cooking plates with a soft cloth to remove
food residue. For baked on food residue,
squeeze some warm water mixed with detergent
over the food residue then clean with a non
abrasive plastic scouring pad or place wet
kitchen paper over the grill to moisten the food
residue.
• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never
use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad
or steel wool, which damages the appliance.
DISPOSAL
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use
separate collection facilities. Contact your local government for information
regarding the collection systems available. If electrical appliances are
disposed of in landlls or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into
the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and
well-being. When replacing old appliances with new ones, the retailer is
legally obligated to take back your old appliance for disposals at least free
of charge.
