The original Pro-Ject 6.9 Perspective
The Pro-Ject 1 and 2 were big milestones for mini-
malistic design and sound quality, but designed for
the entry HiFi market. One of our most important
product was our rst high-end turntable in the 90’s:
The Pro-Ject 6.9 and the Pro-Ject 6.9 Perspective.
Our gameplan for the Pro-Ject 1 and 2? A rigid plin-
th, a one piece tonearm, a heavy platter with AC
motor and absolutely no hollow spaces inside the
chassis. The result is a direct and dynamic sound,
but it can be sensitive when the speakers are placed
close to the turntable.
For the 6.9 we followed another philosophy:
The sub chassis design.
The construction is quite simple yet eective:
The tonearm and the platter are mounted on a sub
chassis which is isolated with from the main chas-
sis with springs. Therefore, vibrations cannot travel
to the needle and inuence the audio transcription.
Also, the motor is isolated from the cartridge and vi-
bration can not inuence the pickup process. The
result is a more open and rhythmic sound.
We are very happy to bring back this beautiful nos-
talgic turntable with a lot of Pro-Ject history in its
veins. This „Final Edition“ is limited to 400 pieces
and is sold with a personalized owners certicate.
Sub chassis

decoupled with three
adjustable springs to
stop vibrations from
traveling to the needle
and inuence the audio
transcription.
Spike feet
The turntable rests on
three aluminium spikes.
Spikes are designed to
reduce the contact area
to minimize the vibration
interference.
