Potentialausgleich und Montage

Zur Vermeidung gefährlicher Überspannungen (Achtung: Brand-/Lebensgefahr), müssen die Geräte geerdet

werden.

• Verwenden Sie den Potenzialausgleichsanschluss am Gerät (1).

• Um den Außenleiter der Koaxialkabel am Potentialausgleich anzuschließen, verwenden Sie z. B.

QEW-Erdungswinkel an den Ein- und Ausgängen des Geräts.

• Verwenden Sie die dem Gerät beiliegenden Montage schrauben und die Montagelöcher am Gerät (2).

HF-Anschluss

• Verbinden Sie die SAT-Eingänge des Multischalters mit den LNBs Ihrer SAT-Empfangsantenne. Speisen

Sie in den terr. Eingang z. B. Ausgangssignale eines CATV-Hausanschlussverstärkers ein.

• Verbinden Sie die Teilnehmeranschlüsse des Multischalters mit den verwendeten Antennensteckdosen.

Verwenden Sie hierfür hochgeschirmte Koaxialkabel mit F- Anschlusssteckern.

Pege und Reinigung

• Trennen Sie das Produkt vor jeder Reinigung von der Stromversorgung und lassen Sie es abkühlen.

• Verwenden Sie keine aggressiven Reinigungsmittel, Alkohol oder andere chemischen Lösungsmittel, da

diese zu Schäden am Gehäuse und zu Fehlfunktionen führen können.

• Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen des Produkts ein trockenes, faserfreies Tuch.

Entsorgung

Elektronische Geräte sind Wertstoffe und gehören nicht in den Hausmüll. Entsorgen Sie das

Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer gemäß den geltenden gesetzlichen Bestimmungen. Sie

Das Produkt ist nur für die Verteilung von Radio- und

Fernsehsignalen im Haus geeignet.

Das Gerät ist ausschließlich für den Innengebrauch

a) Allgemeine Hinweise

• Das Produkt ist kein Spielzeug. Halten Sie es von

Kindern und Haustieren fern.

• Lassen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial nicht

achtlos liegen. Dieses könnte für Kinder zu einem

gefährlichen Spielzeug werden.

• Schützen Sie das Produkt vor extremen

Temperaturen, direktem Sonnenlicht, starken

Stößen, hoher Feuchtigkeit, Nässe, brennbaren

Gasen, Dämpfen und Lösungsmitteln.

• Setzen Sie das Produkt keiner mechanischen

Beanspruchung aus.

• Wenn kein sicherer Betrieb mehr möglich

ist, nehmen Sie das Produkt außer Betrieb

und schützen Sie es vor unbeabsichtigter

Verwendung. Der sichere Betrieb ist nicht mehr

gewährleistet, wenn das Produkt:

- tbare Schäden aufweist,sich

- nicht mehr ordnungsgemäß funktioniert,

- über einen längeren Zeitraum unter

ungünstigen Umgebungsbedingungen

gelagert wurde oder

- erheblichen Transportbelastungen ausgesetzt

wurde.

• Gehen Sie vorsichtig mit dem Produkt um. Stöße,

Schläge oder sogar das Herunterfallen aus

geringer Höhe können das Produkt beschädigen.

• Sollten Sie noch Fragen haben, die in dieser

Bedienungsanleitung nicht beantwortet werden,

wenden Sie sich an unseren technischen

b) Angeschlossene Geräte

• Beachten Sie auch die Sicherheitshinweise und

Bedienungsanleitungen anderer Geräte, die mit

dem Produkt verbunden sind.

c) Weitere Sicherheitshinweise

• Die Installation des Geräts und Reparaturen am

Gerät sind ausschließlich vom Fachmann unter

Beachtung der geltenden Richtlinien durchzufüh- ren.

Bei nicht fachgerechter Installation und

Inbetriebnahme wird keine Haftung übernommen.

• Vor der Handhabung des Gerätes Netzstecker

ziehen, andernfalls besteht Lebensgefahr. Dies

gilt auch, wenn Sie das Gerät reinigen oder an

den Anschlüssen arbeiten.

• Nur das an das Gerät angeschlossene Netzkabel

verwenden. Niemals Teile am Netzkabel

austauschen oder Änderungen vornehmen.

Es besteht sonst Lebensgefahr, für die keine

Haftung übernommen wird.

• Sofern eine austauschbare Sicherung vorhanden

ist, vor dem Wechsel der Sicherung Netzstecker

ziehen. Defekte Sicherungen nur durch normge-

rechte Sicherungen des gleichen Nennwertes

ersetzen.

• Das Gerät nur in trockenen Räumen betreiben.

In feuchten Räumen oder im Freien besteht

die Gefahr von Kurzschlüssen (Achtung:

Brandgefahr) oder elektrischem Schlägen

(Achtung: Lebensgefahr).

• Der Netzstecker dient im Service- als auch

im Gefahrenfall als Trennvorrichtung von der

Netzspannung und muss deshalb jederzeit

erreichbar und benutzbar sein. Nach Anschluss

an die Netzspannung ist das Gerät in Betrieb.

• Um Beschädigungen am Gerät selbst oder an

Peripheriegeräten vorzubeugen, Gerät nur auf

achen Oberächen montieren.

• Montage- bzw. Aufstellort so wählen, dass Kinder

nicht unbeaufsichtigt am Gerät und dessen

Anschlüssen spielen können.

• Der Montage- bzw. Aufstellort muss eine

sichere Verlegung aller angeschlossenen Kabel

ermöglichen. Angeschlossene Kabel dürfen nicht

durch irgendwelche Gegenstände beschädigt

oder gequetscht werden.

• Unbedingt darauf achten, dass Kabel nicht in

die Nähe von Wärmequellen (z.B. Heizkörper,

andere Elektrogeräte, Kamin etc.) kommen.

• Montage- bzw. Aufstellort wählen, an dem

unter keinen Umständen Flüssigkeiten oder

Gegenstände in das Gerät gelangen können

(z. B. Kondenswasser, Dachundichtigkeiten,

Gießwasser etc.).

• Gerät niemals direkter Sonneneinstrahlung

aussetzen. Direkte Nähe von Wärrmequellen (z.

B. Heizkörper, andere Elektrogeräte, Kamin etc.)

vermeiden.

• Kühlkörper oder Lüftungsschlitze keinesfalls

abdecken oder verbauen. Für eine großzügig

bemessene Luftzirkulation um das Gerät sorgen.

Damit verhindern Sie mögliche Schäden am

Gerät sowie Brandgefahr durch Überhitzung.

• Bei, Beschädigung Stromzufuhr zum Gerät sofort

unterbrechen.

Equipotential bonding and Mounting

To avoid dangerous power surges (e.g. risk of re and danger of life) the device must be earthed

• To connect the outer conductor of the coaxial cable to the equipotential bonding, use e.g. QEW earthing

angles at the inputs and outputs of the device.

• .Use the mounting screws included in the delivery and the mounting holes of the device (2)

RF-Installation

• Connect the SAT inputs of the multiswitch to the LNBs of your SAT reception antenna. Connect the

output signals of a CATV amplier to the terrestrial input.

• Connect the subscriber ports of the multiswitch to the antenna sockets used. Use highly shielded coaxial

cables with F connectors.

Care and cleaning

• Disconnect the product and allow to cool down before each cleaning.

• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as they can

cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.

• Clean the product with a dry, bre-free cloth.

Disposal

Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.

At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable regulatory

guidelines.

You thus fulll your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.

Intended use

The product is suited only for distributing radio and

television signals in the house.

It is intended for indoor use only. Contact with

moisture must be avoided under all circumstances.

For safety and approval purposes, you must not

rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the

product for purposes other than those described

above, the product may be damaged. In addition,

improper use can result in short circuits, res, electric

shocks or other hazards. Read the instructions

carefully and store them in a safe place. Make this

product available to third parties only together with

its operating instructions.

information on proper handling in

this manual, we assume no liability

a) General information

• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of

children and pets.

• Do not leave packaging material lying around

carelessly. This may become dangerous playing

material for children.

• Protect the appliance from extreme temperatures,

direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity,

moisture, ammable gases, steam and solvents.

• Do not place the product under any mechanical

stress.

• If it is no longer possible to operate the product

safely, take it out of operation and protect it from

any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer

be guaranteed if the product:

- is visibly damaged,

- is no longer working properly,

- has been stored for extended periods in poor

ambient conditions or

- has been subjected to any serious

transport-related stresses.

• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts,

impacts or a fall even from a low height can

damage the product.

• If you have questions which remain unanswered

by these operating instructions, contact our

technical support service or other technical

personnel.

b) Connected devices

• Also observe the safety and operating instructions

of any other devices which are connected to the

product.

c) Further safety

• Installation and repairs to the equipment may

only be carried out by technicians observing

the current VDE guidelines. No liability will be

assumed in the case of faulty installation and

commissioning.

• Before handling the device, pull out the mains

plug, otherwise there is danger to life. This also

applies if you clean the device or work on the

connections.

• Only use the mains cable connected to the

device. Never replace any parts or make any

modications on the mains cable. Otherwise

there is a risk of mortal injury for which we cannot

be held liable.

• If a replaceable fuse is available, pull the mains

plug before changing the fuse. Replace damaged

fuses only with standard fuses of the same

nominal value.

• The equipment may only be operated in dry

rooms. In humid rooms or outdoors there is

danger of short-circuit (caution: risk of re) or

electrocution.

• The mains plug is used as a disconnecting device

from the mains voltage both during service and in

case of danger and must therefore be reacha- ble

and usable at all times. After connection to the

mains, the device is in operation.

• To prevent damage to your equipment and to

avoid possible peripheral damages, the devices

foreseen for wall mounting may only be installed

on a at surface.

• Choose the location of installation or mounting

such that children may not play unsupervised

near the equipment and its connections.

• The location of installation or mounting must

allow a safe installation of all cables connected.

The mains cable as well as feeder lines may not

be damaged or clamped by objects of any kind.

• Absolutely avoid that cables come near any

source of heat (e.g. radioators, other electrical

devices, chimney, etc.).

• Choose the location of installation or mounting so

that under no circumstances liquids or objects can

get into the equipment (e.g. condensation, water

coming from leaking roofs or owing water, etc.).

• Avoid exposure of the equipment to direct

sunlight and to other heat sources (e. g. radiators.

other electrical devices, chimney, etc.).

• Devices that are equipped with heat sinks or

ventilation slots must under no circum-stances be

covered or blocked. Also ensure for a generous

air circulation around the equipment. In this way

you avoid possible damage to the equipment as

well as a risk of re caused by overheating.

• In case of damage, interrupt the power supply

immediately.

• Do not try to repair the device. This device should

only be serviced or repaired by qualied service

personnel. Contact your distributor for more

information.

• Do not open the device.

• For disassembly always pull the mains plug rst

and disconnect the power supply cable from the

connected device.
