1) Place bowl on scale before switching on.
2) Press and release button. on-zero-o 88889/8 appears on display.
3) Wait until display shows 0.
Ensure +/- terminals are
correct way round.
Press kg-lb-ml-fl.oz button to convert between metric and imperial units, at any
time during weighing.
The Aquatronic liquid measure feature is suitable for all water based liquids,
including wine, milk, stock, cream etc
Note: Oils have a lower specific gravity, which will result in a volume reading of
approx +10%. If measuring oils by volume on this scale, please adjust for this
accordingly.
SOLIDS: g = grammes, oz = ounces, lb = pounds
LIQUIDS: ml = millilitres, fl.oz = fluid ounces
If your recipe shows litre or pint measures: 1 litre = 1000 ml, 1 pint = 20 fl.oz, 1/2
pint = 10 fl.oz, 1/4 pint = 5 fl.oz

To weigh several dierent ingredients in one bowl, press to reset the on-zero-o
display between each ingredient.
Auto switch-o occurs if display shows 0 for 1 minute or shows the same weight
reading for 3 minutes.
• If the scale is not being used for a long period, remove the batteries.
Always remove flat batteries immediately.
• DO NOT immerse the scale in water or use chemical/abrasive cleaning agents.
• The outer casing of the scale may be wiped clean with a damp cloth and the
bowl can be washed by hand or by dishwasher.
This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with
other household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm
to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal,
recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material
resources. To return your used device, please use the return and collection
systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take
this product for environmental safe recycling.
This product is intended for domestic use only. Salter will repair or replace the
product, or any part of this product, (excluding batteries) free of charge if within
15 years of the date of purchase, it can be shown to have failed through defective
workmanship or materials.This guarantee covers working parts that aect the
function of the scale. It does not cover cosmetic deterioration caused by fair wear
and tear or damage caused by accident or misuse. Opening or taking apart the
scale or its components will void the guarantee. Claims under guarantee must be
supported by proof of purchase and be returned carriage paid to Salter (or local
Salter appointed agent if outside the UK). Care should be taken in packing the
scale so that it is not damaged while in transit.This undertaking is in addition to a
consumer’s statutory rights and does not aect those rights in any way.
