Care and maintenance
Wipe the exterior of the scale with a soft, damp cloth
and allow it to dry thoroughly.
Never immerse the scale in water or any other liquid.
Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning detergents or
scourers to clean the scale, as this could cause damage.
flavoured/coloured foods or acids, such as citrus
fruit zest, which can cause damage to the surfaces.
NOTE:
Where such ingredients are
used, it is recommended that the
bowl or weighing surface is lined with
greaseproof paper or plastic film and
washed/wiped clean immediately
afterwards. The mechanism does
not require maintenance of any kind.
The bowl is safe for dishwasher.
CAUTION: The bowl supplied with
this scale must not be placed in a
microwave oven.
Instructions for use
Assembling the scale
STEP 2 – Place the bowl support on top, ensuring
the holes line up and screw back on.
STEP 3 – Remove the cardboard stabilisers and discard.
Using the scale
STEP 1: Position the scale on a firm, flat surface.
STEP 2: Place the empty bowl provided on the
scale and check that the pointer is at the zero mark
before weighing.
STEP 3: To adjust the pointer to zero, slowly turn
the rotating knob located on the top of the scale
then tap the bowl gently to settle the mechanism.
Readjust if necessary.
NOTE:
For best results when weighing,
always add ingredients to centre
of the bowl.

Entretien et maintenance
