1 x CR2032. Ensure +/- terminals are the correct way round. Remove isolator tab
before first use.
TO SWITCH ON
1. Place bowl on scale before switching on.
2. Press and release ON/ZERO/OFF button. 8888 appears on display.
3. Wait until display shows 0.

TO MEASURE LIQUIDS AND SOLIDS
To switch between units press UNIT to scroll through until the desired unit is reached.
The Aquatronic liquid measure feature is suitable for all water based liquids,
including wine, milk, stock, cream etc
Note: Oils have a lower specific gravity, which will result in a volume reading of
approx +10%.
If measuring oils by volume on this scale, please adjust for this accordingly.

To weigh several dierent ingredients in one bowl, press ON/ZERO/OFF to reset the
display between each ingredient.

Auto switch-o occurs if display shows 0 for 1 minute or shows the same weight
reading for 3 minutes.

To maximise battery life press ON/ZERO/OFF for two seconds after use to switch o.

CLEANING & CARE
• Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth. DO NOT immerse the scale in water or
use chemical/abrasive cleaning agents.
• All plastic parts should be cleaned immediately after contact with fats, spices,
vinegar and strongly flavoured/coloured foods. Avoid contact with acids such as
citrus juices.

This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of in the domestic
waste as they contain substances which can be damaging to the environment

GUARANTEE
This product is intended for domestic use only. Salter will repair or replace the
product, or any part of this product, (excluding batteries) free of charge if within
15 years of the date of purchase, it can be shown to have failed through defective
workmanship or materials. This guarantee covers working parts that aect the
function of the scale. It does not cover cosmetic deterioration caused by fair wear
and tear or damage caused by accident or misuse. Opening or taking apart the
scale or its components will void the guarantee. Claims under guarantee must be
supported by proof of purchase and be returned carriage paid to Salter (or local
Salter appointed agent if outside the UK). Care should be taken in packing the
scale so that it is not damaged while in transit. This undertaking is in addition to a
consumer’s statutory rights and does not aect those rights in any way.
