USING THE KNIFE SHARPENER

• Holdingthehandlermlyandthebladefacingawayfromyou,placethehealofthe
blade,sharpedgepointingdownwardsintothewheelapplyingaslightpressureand
pullitslowlytowardsyouforapproximately3seconds.
• Checkthesharpeningresultafter3to5times.Repeatuntildesiredsharpeningisachieved.
• Releasethebutton.
• Notsuitableforkniveswithaserratededgeorforsharpeningscissors.

CLEANING
Cleaningshallnotbedonebychildren.
Wipeotheouterhousingwithadampclothanddry.Thesharpeningwheelcanbecleaned
withasmallbrush(eg.atoothbrush)thatisheldtowardsthewheelwhilerotating.Ifyou
wishtoremoveanygrindingdustwhichiscollectedinsidetheknifesharpener,unscrewthe
lidpositionedunderneaththeapplianceandshakeoutand/oruseavacuumcleanertosuck
outthedustfromtheopening.Putbackthelidandtightenthescrews.Alwaysunplugfrom
themainssupplybeforeremovingthelid.
